Audio tour was good and allowed time to look around. The house shows off its gorgeous architecture, and the tour tells a good story. I love visiting old houses, and this was great. I would have preferred a tour guide, but that wasn’t available the weekend we visited. I know it relies heavily on volunteers, so understandable. If I visit Denver, I’d go back if I could do a tour with a guide or a special event.

Very interesting museum. I had no idea Molly Brown was such a champion for women's rights! That was much more interesting to me than the Titanic stuff.
Parking is a PITA (2h street only) -- use bus/rideshare/etc. if you can. Gift shop is very cute with lots of interesting stuff that's not too pricey. The property is not accessible, as it's a 150+ year old house with *lots* of stairs inside and out.

If you are interested in learning more about Molly Brown, then you have to visit this place. I was so impressed with the beauty of this home and all the information. I'm so glad I went here for my Denver visit.

I absolutely loved this house museum. It’s a must-visit for anyone interested in history, women’s rights, or the Titanic (though that’s only one piece of Brown’s incredible story). I took the self-guided tour using the online audio guide (don’t forget your headphones if you opt for this free audio experience). It offered excellent history and context for every room in the house, and ended most sections with a thought-provoking question to help personalize the experience and offer greater richness to your visit. My only criticism is that the 15-minute video is in the same room as an exhibit, so it can be difficult to hear when folks are in the room taking in the exhibit and talking. I’m so glad I decided to visit this house museum. It’s one of the highlights of my weekend trip to Denver.

I felt like I took a step back in time and it was fascinating to see what a furnished house looked like from that period. Margaret "Molly" Brown has a fascinating life story. She became famous for surviving the Titanic, but she did a lot of other things as well and I have to wonder what she would think of the "Unsinkable Molly Brown" persona.
I did the self tour but there was another guided tour going on close by and it sounded informative, there was documentation in each room and there was an audio tour as well so bring your headsets or earbuds. In addition there were exhibits hanging on some of the walls. Everything was extremely well documented.
Prior to going into the house, I had to wait about a half an hour, there was a film in the basement along with a few exhibits which occupied my time as I waited for my entry time.
I spent about 2 hours between the video and time spent in the house! I highly recommend visiting the Molly Brown House Museum.

I had no idea what to expect when my friends and I decided kind of at the last minute to take a tour of the Molly Brown House Museum. I left the museum convinced that I needed to read more about Margaret Tobin Brown. What an amazing woman! Our tour guide was phenomenal. I could have listened to her tell stories for hours. Unfortunately I can't remember the guide's name, but she told us (hopefully I have this correct) that she has been affiliated with the museum since she was 12 years old and has been giving tours there for 50+ years! If you're trying to decide whether or not to visit this museum, DO IT. Opt for the guided tour as well.

We booked the guided tour of the house and I am so glad, we learned so much about the Brown family and their role in Denver and the greater US. We enjoyed the stories about the Titanic, but more importantly, we loved learning about Ms. Brown's role in fighting for women's rights.

I really enjoyed my tour and visit to the house. Learned a lot about the life of this amazing woman. Would definitely recommend visiting if you're in the area. I would love to come back someday.

FANTASTIC Gift Shop!! Informative self-guided tour, very authentic and historically accurate. The Unsinkable Molly Brown survived the Titanic and drove an electric car!!!!

We took the guided tour. It was great. The guide was very informative. We not only learned the history the house in Denver,but also her history from when she first came to Colorado.

Thanks for your patience! We offered our very first teas since the start of the pandemic for this past Mother's Day Weekend. We only offer teas as special events. We don't anticipate having more teas in 2022 until the holidays.

Thank you for the question. We have a lift that allows folks with mobility issues to enter the house and tour the main floor. The lift also lowers down to our exhibit area and accessible restrooms. Unfortunately, it does not travel to the upper floors of the house, but we do have a video for folks to watch if they cannot climb to stairs to the upper levels. I hope that this information helps!

You can take the free 16th Street shuttle bus most of the way. It will be 5 or 6 blocks after that, but the park in front of the State Capital is interesting and nice.

Is there anyway to purchase tour tickets in advance, or to make reservations? I've emailed them via their website but never received a response. This is for a family of four, not a large group. Thanks.

I would get down town early, go get tickets for the US Mint tour, then go to the Molly Brown house, which is only a short distance (many people walk it) and get tickets for that tour. If you have a long wait in between the two tours, go walk the grounds of the capital building or get a bite to eat in one of the MANY cafes in the area.

You can look around the grounds and go to the bookstore without buying a tour ticket. If you have the time, it is worth the price to go on the tour. You cannot get into the house at all without the ticket. The tour actually starts on the front porch and the tour guide will take your ticket then.
