Great old school bar, friendly people. Music was great, history behind the bar is amazing and how old the bar, hotel and old time brothel.

Two guests sitting at the bar used homophobic language against my friend for no reason. They verbally attacked him, and instead of doing the right thing, the bartender kicked my friend out. When we asked to share what happened, she said, "you are over served, get out." She, along with everyone working at Ace-Hi Tavern, protected homophobic guests and refused to apologize. It was an upsetting experience and ruined the rest of our time in Golden. I encourage anyone reading this to take their business anywhere else.

This bar caught our attention with its Saturday evening drink specials. We went in and split a Coors Light pitcher and the bartenders were a blast! They made our time there fun. I’d definitely recommend this little tavern, as it’s one of the older bars in Golden. The rest definitely have a tourist feel to them, but this one stays true to its roots. They have karaoke too, but I didn’t get to stick around for it. Definitely recommend for drinks!

This is a GREAT little bar in downtown Golden. Great happy hour and real personable bartenders. We had a great time!

I loved this place. I love a good dive bar and this was awesome! Bartender was friendly and the customers were entertaining. Bathroom was clean, which is always dicey in your "dive bars"! They even have a jukebox and the bartender will match your money (at least ours did) so you get more songs!!! Worth the stop!!!

This is the bar you remember (if you're around 60) from your early days of bar hopping. A little dark, more than a little worn and just about the most welcoming place you'll find. Disappointed that it would be a three hour wait to tour the Coors Brewery, four of us stopped in to drown our sorrow. Best move ever! The lady at the bar (whose name escapes me now but she knows who she is) suggested a pitcher of Coors Golden (a blend of Coors and Killian's) and all was better. I can't remember the last time I found a real pitcher sized pitcher for $8.50! A guy at the bar suggested that since we were looking for more than bar food, that we go across the street to D'Deli and bring our food back. After finding out it was fine to do, we did just that and came back with some great sandwiches and, of course, another pitcher. (Me thinks there might be some GOOD collusion here!) I hope the Coors tour has this long a wait next time I'm in town so I can just skip it and go to Ace Hi!

First bar we stopped at after Coors tour. Not a bad place. Friendly staff and friendly costumers. A drink with my beautiful lady is a good drink!! So four stars plus.

My boyfriend & I just finished the Coors tour and got a hankerin' for some more booze, so we stopped into here. Its an awesome place to grab a beer out on the cool patio

Stopped for a couple of drinks. We enjoyed sitting outside and drinking our ice cold drinks and watching people walk by. The prices were very reasonable. Don't know what the inside looked like but could hear some people inside the bar using a little 'rough' language (sounded like older women), so I can't comment on the atmosphere inside the bar.
