First off, if you’re from out of town know that this is inside the Mall, it doesn’t state that on its web page but would have saved us 20 minutes looking for it had it said, “located inside the Southwest Mall”. There’s not even a sign outside the Mall that gives a clue that you have arrived. I looked on Waze and it had an X which was inside the mall. As far as experience goes it was nice for the 9 and 2 year old we took. It’s reasonably priced although if you want to interact with the species it costs tokens which are an additional cost. I didn’t mind that so much except for the few things that cost a token to go into the pen and an additional token if you wanted to feed the animal. For $2 a token you get about 1/8 of a cup of food, so buying tokens can add up. The kids enjoyed walking through and feeding the different species. I wasn’t impressed with how clean it was, they could improve on that. Hand sanitizer stations are plentiful and we used them often plus I had hand wipes also.

This "attraction" was so SAD. There are many animals that should be housed in outdoor environments, such as bunnies and wallabies, however they are kept in dog cages where children are allowed entry to disturb them all day long. This is not good for the animals and could potentially be dangerous for the children! The place stunk to high heaven, it was dark, dirty, full of people running around yelling and talking loudly, which echos inside the building. The animals appear stressed, and it's easy to see. I do not recommend it for anyone unless you are simply heartless and don't really care about the well being of animals.

Do not visit this cruel attraction. The animals are in very unnatural conditions. They are very stressed and desperately trying to escape from their tiny living conditions. These are apparently healthy creatures that were brought there for entertainment purpose, not for rehabilitation or inability to survive on their own. I can't believe this is still allowed or that anyone would visit. I happened to walk by a window in the mall where a beautiful Amazon Toucan was flying into his net, stressed and trying to escape.

This place should be shut down!! I was there yesterday and it was dirty, some of the exhibits weren't even open and had no animals. Fish tanks were filthy, it stunk, it was hot, absolutely no social distancing at all, waste of money, waste of time! Someone should look into this place because it should be shut down! I feel really bad for all those poor animals.

I have a summer camp and left messages at least three times to try to coordinate a field trip for my kids at a discount. No one ever got back to me (I called multiple times over several weeks) so I purchased tickets at full price. Upon arrival I inquired if we could get a few free tokens since it was my intent to book a lower cost field trip for my group (which included tokens) and I was told the only way the kids could get a token or two was if I signed up for their newsletter.
I was disappointed to learn that the only way you can touch any of the animals is if you buy tokens. I thought the admittance fee would be enough to touch a tortoise, rabbit, etc. I had six kids with me and the cost to see even ONE animal up close would have cost me another $12. Why spend $12 to pet a rabbit when you can do that for free at a pet store?
The aquarium shouldn't advertise itself is interactive (see photo) when you have to pay an extra fee for the privilege of a hands-on experience. I won't be back with my group next summer.

I visited SeaQuest Littleton with my 9 year old granddaughter and left in a hurry when I saw dirty animal enclosures, unsafe interaction with animals, and little oversight by the staff. I researched SeaQuest and found a long history of violations and problems, including children being bitten by iguanas, and neglect and cruelty charges brought against them. Information about this is available through the Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and Jefferson County animal Control. If you are looking for a nice aquarium, check out the Denver Aquarium. It is cheerful, professionally run with minimum stress on the animals. They charge a lot for a ticket, and make a lot of money selling food tokens. Some animals are eating all day long!!

Well this place had mixed reviews so decided to go try it out and see first hand. It’s in the mall so not the largest aquarium because of that. At paying they want you to buy tokens for the animal encounters or the food machines. Sounds great until you get I there and realize what a minimal amount you get for roughly a buck a coin!! A total ripoff but of course the kids want to feed at the exhibits. The smell is terrible as you walk into the exhibit area, glass wasn’t clean, and some of the animals appeared to have been purchased from the local pet store. Had to ask for staff to come to the toucan and cats, since they were areas you could go in and interact. The birds were kept in small cages and overall would never go back to this place. I guess there is a reason they have made the news for mistreating the animals and people being bitten.

This is a fun place to take younger kids for a visit. We went with our grandchildren (2 and 6) and they had so much fun exploring around and feeding the fish. It's not a large aquarium (it's inside a mall so don't expect ocean park style aquarium), it is also not the type of aquarium that has research or conservation programmes, so I'm unlikely to visit it on my own. I felt uncomfortable about how small the enclosures seemed for land animals compared to what I usually see in zoos around the world. All in all, I'd say the aquarium is a fun place for a family outing of a couple hours especially if you have younger kids.

I am so disappointed with my interaction with SeaQuest Littleton. Booked a birthday party for my child. However, I received and email on Sunday afternoon one week before my party was booked that it had been cancelled with no explanation. I had to contact them to find out that there was an error with their system and they had a bigger party scheduled for that day and they cancelled my party. I understand that their system failed them but cancelling a customers party with less than 7 days via email and no return phone call is bad customer service. I am furious that I never received a phone call to inform me my party had been cancelled. I've had to call and email a few times and still have not received a return phone call after 3 days. Birthday parties are planned out and suppose to be fun but when the place you were relying on to have your party sends and email and cancels it at the last minute is unacceptable. I am still waiting to hear back on how they intend to resolve this so we do not have another year of a missed birthday celebration. Last year was due to covid and this year because of their computer error.

This was such a great experience. My favorite part was feeding the lorikeets nectar. The sugar gliders were also a lot of fun to watch and interact with. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.
