The haunted cave tour was one of the best times of my life. Our guide’s name was Jeremy and he was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about caves. I was certainly spooked by some of the stories he told. I learned a lot about caves and had fun at the same time.

Ask for Hippie on the Lantern tour. We had a great time. It is very dark so not for those afraid of the dark. 10 out of 10 stars

My wife, my daughters (12 and 10), and I did the lantern tour. It was FANTASTIC! Our guide was a guy named Hippie who was so knowledgeable about the cave and its history. He was also extremely respectful with the telling of that history. The dude put so much heart and soul into it, the stories jumped out at you and burned in your mind as if you were watching a theatrical performance. My family loved it, I highly recommend it and I never write a review on anything! Spooky and informative.

Great Experience and awesome Lantern Tour

This experience far exceeded mine, and my families, expectations. John ,a.k.a. the Hippie, was the best of the best tour guide for our Lantern tour. He has a passion for his work and makes the tour very immersive. I observed some of the other guides and none seemed as enthusiastic and inclusive of the audience as he was. The tour itself was physical but not overwhelming and the stories were great. Highly recommend this tour, but ask for the Hippie, you will not be disappointed.

Decent cave tour

I’ve been on multiple cave tours in the past. This one was pretty decent enough to do once. They did have lights in certain areas but I do feel like the areas could have been better lit in order to see all the formations instead of having the tour guide turn on their flashlight for 10-15 seconds to point out the various areas. On previous tours elsewhere that I did, all persons on tours had helmets with lights on which helps to see all the formations.

The tour ends in the gift shop and you also have the option to purchase the picture they take of you at the beginning of the tour.

Views from the main building are spectacular. Be aware if you are doing any activities they do have lockers for your bags but bring 25c coins.

Madi was our tour guide. She did an amazing job interacting with each of the members of the group. She was clearly very knowledgeable in her role and very ambitious. She stressed safety first.

Great experience, but helmets not provided

I had a good experience and our tour guide Maddie is great and very engaging. Did the lantern tour, great cave system, but will not suggest for people with claustrophobic. The only thing I have against is that they do not provide helmets and 3 people in our tour hit their heads very hard including me. They should consider providing helmet for safety reasons.

I booked the Haunted Lantern tour with my family. We had a blast on this tour and the ghost even knocked the candle out of my son’s lantern! So much fun! Our guide Will was the best, he gave a fun tour and you can tell that he really enjoys guiding you through the cave. Thanks, Will for our fun adventure!

My 4 and 6 year old were intrigued!

This was our first time to Cave of the Winds and I’m glad we went. The view was beautiful! The caves were cool. It’s been a while since I’ve been in one. My 4 and 6 year olds were very intrigued and listened to Peyton, our tour guide. Peyton (just graduated high school) has only been there 3 weeks, but knowledgeable and humorous. My husband and I were talking about how we appreciate his eagerness to work. He mentioned a staffing issue when we asked why the zip lines weren’t open. Since COVID, it seems like no one wants to walks anymore, especially kids.
