Bruce was such a great tour guide!! Very friendly and great with the kids! Definitely recommend visiting them.

We went early and had the tour all to ourselves. Bruce was great and really made it fun for our kids.

Overall the tour was great. Bruce was an excellent, knowledgeable guide. The kids enjoyed panning for gold while we waited for the tour to start.
We did have a rather awkward experience one should be aware of. While I went to the restroom, the rest of our group was led out back to the panning site. When I came out the ladies in the gift shop said the panning was around the building to the right. I walked out and up a gravel road to the right (the only path I saw). There were 6-7 camping trailers at the top of the road and a man came out saying, “didn’t you see the no trespassing signs? You’re not supposed to be here.” Confused, I said, “I’m sorry the ladies directed me around this side to the panning site.” After some back & forth I walked back and then did see the no trespassing signs, but it’s not at all clear that the property right around the mine is not part of it, and that the signs are for the mining guests, not others who might not not be there for the mine. Anyway, it was very confusing & awkward. There should probably be better signage and/or the mine employees should mention to guests that the surrounding property is not part of the mine.

My husband and I enjoyed the tour of the Bachelor Syracuse Mine. Jason, our guide, was excellent! He provided entertaining and educational information about the history of mining in the area.

Super fun experience. The drive getting to the mine was beautiful and the mine tour was entertaining and enjoyable. Jason is a great storyteller. Be sure to take closed toe shoes and be prepared to spend an hour in 55 degrees.

Great tour of historic silver mine! Actual equipment used in the day was explained as well as conditions working in the mine. Walk of 1500 ft in, and another 1500 ft out was fairly easy.
Great guide named Jason made the experience come alive.

Jason was our tour guide and he did a great job of informing us of the mines history, how it worked day by day, including care for the donkeys and the working and daily life conditions of the workers. This included before electricity and after. He also gave us information of other attractions in the area. From the moment we met Jason, he had a smile on his face. Highly recommend this tour.

Jason, our tour guide, was friendly, funny, & very knowledgeable about the mine. Very glad that we took this tour. Bring Muck boots or some other waterproof boots.

Our groups favorite part was Jason, the Tour Guide. Jason was likeable, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. He even added a little humor every now and then.
We learned the history of the mine, the different heavy metals that were mined here, how the mine worked and a little about the other mines in the area. I learned more from Jason about Colorado mining than I did during my entire schooling career.

We had a great breakfast, mine tour and silver panning experience! The mine tour, which was a special Labor Day weekend version, was particularly interesting. Carl and Gabrielle did a great job!
