Stopped here prior to an event at the Bridgeport Downtown Cabaret Theatre to grab a quick dinner/apps and a drink. Being a Friday night, it was reasonably busy so it was a little bit loud but we didn't mind. The service was on the slow side but again, the girls were having to hustle to keep up with the crowd.
We ordered the handmade guacamole, which was decent but on the small side. Also had nachos and chicken tenders. Nothing blew me away and I thought the dishes could have been "beefed up" a bit.
On the plus side, drinks were 1/2 from 4-7pm, so our (craft) beers only ran about $3. There was a strobe light right when you walked in, so just be aware if you're heading here to eat (ask for a table way off to the side).

What a surprise -- this dark little bar has Great Food! I eat lunch there often -- first the hamburgers are first rate -- when I want a burger, this is where I go. But their nachos are terrifice -- the calamari is awesome, love their wings, and french dip is superb. Don 't be fooled by the decor. The food is great!

Early last night, I was in Bridgeport to attend a meeting so stopped in to Tiago's to get a feel for Downtown. Sparsely, though neatly, decorated; with a friendly and helpful staff; the restaurant wins stars for its excellent bar fare. I had a Baja wrap, exactly the right suggestion by the barmaid, and was quite surprised and pleased. Since I will occasionally return to Bridgeport on business now, I've filed Taigo's away in my memory bank for future visits and tastings.

Cool Place but OWNER needs to loosen up and learn how to be HOSPITABLE. I go there all the time a most the bartenders are cool but the owner (little blond girl , I assume she's the owner) makes me want to turn around and leave . Anyway, on a beautiful evening in June a friend and I go to this place for happy hour at 6 ......happy hour ended at 7 . The owner was the ONLY 1 working the front of the house. So she was CRAZY busy. It took her a LONG time to check back on us . Which is completely understandable. So when she finally came back , we ordered drinks at 6;45 and ask could we order a round on back up before happy hour was over. She said no. So I said ' well come back before 7" At 6;58 I had to go inside and order 2 more drinks. Now I understand on a regular basis not allowing backup drinks , but on a day where the staff is taking 15 minutes between orders , due to being short staffed , exceptions should be made!
