This has to be one of the prettiest lighthouses we've ever seen. It's in a fenced off community (I think). But we told the man at the gate we wanted to take a picture of the lighthouse and he let us in. We use the Waze App when we travel, just type in Punta Figuras Lighthouse and it will take you right to it. At this time we were there we weren't allowed inside, but if you like lighthouses it is definitely worth the side trip to find it.

El sitio es interesante pero necesita mantenimiento y unos arreglos para hacerlo más turístico. También hace falta un buen guía turístico que fe detalles del lugar y de cuando fue construido. Eso daría más atractivo al lugar y llegaría a ser uno de los lugares más bonitos de Puerto Rico.

This place is amazing my family love it
it has a great beach a beautiful Malecon next to the City Hall

Great to take pictures. Is located near beach cabins where you can stay by renting them. Also theres a pool.

It is a historic place in Arroyo, Puerto Rico. At the real Caribbean Sea. Most people get confused visiting the north area of Puerto Rico. That is the Atlantic Ocean. If you wish to visit the Caribbean you must go to the South of the island. I know this place since I was a kid. The beaches are more safe than by the North Coast. More people die by the North Coast beaches than by the Caribbean. Unfortunately the North Coast beaches receive more publicity than the South Beaches. Sometimes you can see that they marketed traveling packages mentioning that they are located by the Caribbean. Please verify before make any reservatios.

It was a very enjoyable place. I stayed at the apartments and they where clean and it was a big place! We went walking through the beach and went to the south-east cost and it was amazing! The light house was closed but we went to the front desk and a very kind woman opend us the doors!

El faro esta abandonado, puertas rotas y en evidente deterioro. El mapa de trip advisor no nos llevo al faro tampoco. Llegamos buscando Punta Figuras directo en el mapa.

Punta Figuras in Arroyo was established in 1893 and operated until 1938. For many years it was in disastrous condition, almost as bad as the lighthouse ruins at Guanica, but in 2003 it was completely restored. It is now an attractive addition to the Puerto Rico National Parks Company's Punta Guilarte Vacation Center. It is located on Highway 3, km. 126, in Arroyo.

I would like to know if there is an entrance fee to visit the lighthouse. If so, does it include the swimming pool? Mainly, I would like to know the logistics of visiting. Thank you!
