I saw the price on booking.com but when I went there they asked me 50% more, so I booked on booking in front of the guy at the reception. Very clean, air conditioning, good restaurant (they even have wine), easy access to the beach, but compared to other places around absolutely too expensive. Good for older people. Considering the price they could keep the beach in front of the hotel cleaner

Müllhaufen und Bretterbuden
Leider täuschen die Bilder im Netz!
Strand ist vermüllt und ungepflegt!
Heruntergekomme Bretterbuden aus denen ständig Lärm dröhnt runden das Bild ab!
Am Wochenende strömen einheimische Touristen den Strand mit noch Lärm und noch mehr Müll!
Absolutes No - Go
Die lange Anreize aus Makassar kann man sich sparen! 🤮🤮🤮
Leider täuschen die Bilder im Netz!

If you come to Tanjung Bira, Bara beach is the only place recommended to stay at. Choose one of the places up on the cliffs, theres many there.
The view us stunning there and its moore quiet and peaceful there.
The beach is super clean and good to swim on and take long walks.
Definetly recommended.

Magnificent white Sandy beach in South Sulawesi , close to the liokang loe island which perfect for snorkelling and turtle conservation. It’s hidden gems and it’s highly recommended if your into nature and not so much of tourist business.

Pantai pasir putih pesisir barat wilayah kabupaten bulukumba yang berdekatan dengan tanjung bira.
Aktifitas yang bisa dilakukan disini adalah, mandi dipantai, ombak cukup tenang, pantai berpasir putih yang lembut, terdapat beberapa pondokan yang bisa disewa untuk santai, ada juga banana boat atau yang mau menyebrang ke pulau dan snorkling juga bisa dengan tarif 350K/kapal maksimal 10 orang.
Masuk disini tidak perlu membayar lagi, (sudah include di pintu masuk Bira) cukup bayar parkir kendaraan saja.
Penginapan di sekitar juga banyak dan terjangkau, dapat juga mendirikan tenda dipantai untuk bermalam.
Enjoy bulukumba, enjoy sulsel, Enjoy Indonesia.

Pantai ini salah satu pantai yang dekat dengan pantai bira, tempat ini sangat indah dan juga masih sangat alami.
Untuk menuju pantai bara Jika kita masuk di loket pantai bira kita belok ke arah sebelah kanan, sepanjang perjalanan kita akan menemukan rumah rumah penduduk yang dijakikan bar.
setelah sampai di pantai ini rasanya luar biasa, sangat indah dan menakjubkan.
Untuk menuju pantai bara Jika kita masuk di loket pantai bira kita belok ke arah sebelah kanan, sepanjang perjalanan kita akan menemukan rumah rumah penduduk yang dijakikan bar.
setelah sampai di pantai ini rasanya luar biasa, sangat indah dan menakjubkan.

Mooi strand, met het witste zand van heel Sulawesi. Vanaf ons verblijf, Bara Coco Beach, gemakkelijk te bereiken met de trap. Het is er niet druk, heel relaxt, met leuke gelegenheden om wat te eten of te drinken. Zeker nog niet toeristisch, een aanrader voor een rustmoment.

Bara Beach is a stunning beach spoiled by reckless beach stalls, uncontrolled camping, fires and karaoke bars. Outside the weekend days you can enjoy some of the beauty of the place but everything is vanishing day after day if there is not a plan to develop the area on sustainability basis.
This area sustains the only group of fancy resorts of all Sulawesi who can enticed foreign tourism running away from the crowded Bali beaches.
Some of the deterioration of the beach is clearly observed beside garbage (the cleaning efforts are not enough), there is a line of shabby beach stalls occupying all the area near the cliffs. While the resorts are above the cliffs blending with the landscape, the beach stalls are ruining the natural beauty of the beach (check the pictures and you will see how in the last years a line of tacky stalls are growing like mushrooms).
This area can not be another Tanjung Bira if you want noises and crowds of people go there and if it is not enough space grow on another beaches because there plenty of them in this area.
Bara Beach is a gem made to walk, sunbathing, swimming, snorkel or looking for some solitude.
The only way of preserving the awe landscape is removing all the stalls and camping activities from the beach, they can go above the cliffs like the resorts, because there is plenty of room for all. Regaining the best stretchs of the beach covered of palm trees will attract more visitors looking for natural beaches.
If something is not done to repair the damages Bara Beach will become a suburban, shabby and wasted beach, I hope the local people choose wisely the development of this area.
