A great place to escape. The atmosphere is a great place to do research or just pleasure read, Their catalog of books is good enough, especially if you don’t want to purchase, You can get am out of town card if you work in Darien.

Great, convenient library with lots of parking off street in a lot. The weekly movie feature is on a nice sized screen, with an excellent speaker system. Usually a recent theatre release. Small auditorium with comfortable theatre seats. Well organized and run. There is a small cafe near the entrance to the theatre. I do recommend going here

The Darien Library is excellent! The staff is highly knowledge and helpful, the resources available are amazing, and the special programs for kids and adults are wide ranging and first rate. Whether for personal or business center needs - this is the place to go.

I have taken several classes at the Darien Library. Comfortable seating, noise level not too high. The parking can be an issue

The Darien Library is one of the jewels in the crown of the wonderful town of Darien. The facility is phenomenal with so many services and wonderful staff- all for free!

The Darien library was just rebuilt a few years ago. It's really beautiful, and it's always busy because it's so nice. They have a great DVD rental section, and books on tape too. They have a lot of great places to study, but they don't have as many private rooms as the old library which is too bad. Otherwise the place is great!

Frequent here a lot - staff friendly and always available. Library grounds and interior well maintained. Always activities for any ages throughout the week. Friday nights movies are played in the auditorium.

This is a great local library, with a beautiful building, meeting rooms and a significant collection of books and other media. Their online offering is growing as well. It's an excellent spot to do some work, and the cafe is great. The children's library is terrific, and offers story time for the little ones.

The Darien Library is an excellent place to study, read, or catch up on the internet. There are rooms for kids, teens, quiet areas, and social events. I have been to two local Artist Events over the last year. all where well attended and interesting. Great place to take the kids for their home work. Comfortable chairs just to read in. I go their once a month just to write my monthly report for work. Great Atmoshere. I love the lights on in the trees at night. The building is alive with Knowledge.

This is simply the most advanced library there is in the Northeast! The library is beautiful, with picture windows, quiet study rooms, and a vast array of literature and technology.
