Loved walking through this farm. There are so many animals to see. During our visit we saw ducks, horses, llamas, goats, turtles, a 33 year old turtle, a mule, and guinea pigs just to name a few. Took someone a long time to greet us, we had to accidentally walk into a restricted area for anyone to say hello. Grateful this farm takes animals in when no one else will. Also has a skip with a lot of cool items in it.
If you have some extra time, go see the animals. They are super friendly and love the company.

What a great place! Booked a horseback lesson and it was really awesome! Kathy is really a wonderful instructor. The animals are lovely and need our help with donations. This place is a great place to bring children. You will want to return.

Went to an Open House and was surprised how many animals there were. The people who volunteer there are great and very friendly. All the animals were very well taken care of and friendly. There were a variety of different animals and my 3 year old grandson had a blast talking to them and petting them.

What an awesome organisation, doing wonderful work. From the animals, to the beautiful farm, to the caring staff......definitely worth the drive to check it out. Donate if you can. Nice little Tack/gift shop as well.

Ray of Light Farm is a wonderland of critters! Peacocks, rabbits, goats and, of course horses. While lots of animals call Ray of Light home, the driving force is rescuing horses. These horses are either mistreated by their owners or scheduled for destruction by pharmaceutical suppliers of Premarine, a human hormone replacement drug. Visiting with the animals is really a joy. Most are 'touchable' and benefit from human contact. There are huge horses (Ima Big Girl) and tiny mini-ponies. There is a Zonkey (1/2 zebra, 1/2 donkey) and horses of all sizes and colors. A great place to bring kids and they offer many special activities. Check out their web site and see what is best for you and yours!

is a true reflection of each human being. Ray of Light farm cares for horses, donkeys, mules, farm animals and so many more. They also have classes to teach children how to handle and treat animals beginning with "hands on" handling of guinea pigs. This is an excellent place to wander to see the animals and purchase items in their shop. Everything was neat and clean and the animals seemed to be very well cared for including a zedonk named Fancy Pants. Consult their website for information on animals they rescue and the many programs available.

It is like a miniature zoo! Lots of different animals, obviously well taken care of.
Great place to wander around and see the rescue horses, and the Donkey refuge too.
Wonder how they do such a wonderful job on very little money. Quite amazing and well worth a visit.

Love this place - it's so much fun. They have a lovely property for their Horse and Donkey Rescue. They have lots of other animals as well and you can get close and pet them.

I took a trip to this farm with my students and they mostly enjoyed it. It was a VERY hot day but the staff was extremely accommodating and patient with us. They were also very good with the students (we are a special needs school) and helped them to safely interact with the animals. Overall Ray of Light Farm is a very unique and fun environment for the little ones.

My 6 year old daughter loves the animals at the farm and can't get enough of the wagon rides at some of the events!
