went to a place called bottle works cottage on beresford road the place was awful cold and dirty and the when i tried to tell the man the just ignored me, espiaclay the tv which never worked and the man did not care
he also asked us to leave early so he could clean so he could go on holiday which was very rude and made us feel uncomfortable so we left quite upset a day early with no offer of a refund thanks ben for an awful holiday
please avoid at all cost i you can/ hes happy to take your money but not to help out when your there

We visited Seaton Sluice beach on a sunny Sunday. Lots of space on the beach which is dog friendly. Also walked into the town via the lovely paved walkway/path. Lovely little town. We also enjoyed having an ice cream from the van parked up in the car park. Lots of benches to sit down and relax.

We were here for the day, and to spend time walking on the beach was the icing on the cake!

We stayed nearby at the caravan site and had some lovely walks with our dog. Be aware though as there are several steps to get down to the bech and also be aware of oncoming tides!!! Whilst we were there we saw a family of dolphins swim past so that was an added bonus!

Fantastic little coffee VW caddy parked in the middle car park between Seaton sluice and Blyth sells the best coffee in the region
Mainly there at weekends if the weather is dry but we’ll worth a visit

A lovely beach with fabulous views. Had a nice meal in the Kings Arms which we'd highly recommend. The Tower House Gallery has an eclectic mix of paintings, jewellery, glass and other craft items for sale at reasonable prices. Make sure you visit St. Mary's Island which is just a few miles down the road and ensure the tide is out so you can access the island and see the seals on the rocks. There is also a small shop on the island selling tourist items etc.

What all of you visitors probably don't know is that Seaton Sluice beach, particularly the last half mile before the harbour is very dangerous, a good few people have drowned over the years swimming there as there is a rip tide which will carry you off around the coast. See the recent Saving Lives at Sea on BBC television where a vicar foolishly kicked his dogs ball into the sea playing fetch, it ended up with the black labrador being swept out to sea and the Blyth lifeboat having to rescue it.

What a lovely stretch of sandy beach, perfect for swimming & paddleboarding. Nice Rocky and rock pool area near the 'river' inlet.

Lovely views over to Blyth and great to just sit and watch the world go by. Lots of seats with memorial plaques.

Really quiet with loads of car parking. This is a lovely spot and nowhere near as crowded as Northumberland beaches further to the north.
