Excellent spot in Boca Raton for foreign and indie movies. Located on campus of FAU on Glades Road in Boca Raton Florida.

Living Room Theaters is multiplex for foreign, art, and niche movies. As such, it is a cultural gem. The prices are reasonable, the seating is comfortable. Snacks and meals are good at the attached cafe. And parking is readily available.

Disgusting washrooms !
Movie was great . The Italian mafia movie ,The Traitor , in Italian with sub titles .
Our visit was severely compromised by the dirty , unsanitary conditions of the washrooms particularly the ladies.
Making the situation worse was the comments from the staff , yes we know about it , no apology .
No attempt to clean !
What a poor set up particular as we face this pandemic ,

Mix of commercial and less commercial movies. Seats are very comfortable, but there are few available in each movie hall so one has to buy & select seats online in advance. There is always original art on view in the hallways & it is all for sale. One can also buy dinner to eat in the adjoining cafe or just popcorn & soda.

Living Room Theaters is a four-screen small theater multiplex. Prices are reasonable, seats are comfortable, and most of the films you can't see anywhere else. A real local treasure, but it's beginning to show signs of wear. Seats are wearing out, decor is fading. Still, an outstanding venue.

I have been to the Living Room Theater many times. There are about 5 different movies playing, mostly foreign films, but also regular movies too. The theaters are small, but sufficient. There is also a lovely restaurant on the premises and the prices are good. Parking is readily available. I would recommend going here.

We go to this movie theater quite often. The seats are comfortable, the theater small and intimate, and the price right. However, it’s time to reupholster the seats.

i come here every tuesday to see my selected movie i chose to here at this theatre, located off fau boca raton, florida campus. monday and tuesday movies shown here are $5.00. great first run movies and excellent restaurant in their lobby , serving great fresh food items. ps - delicious popcorn !!!!!!!!

The Livingroomtheater is located on the FAU campus on the east end of the campus, visible from Glades Road, in the Culture and Society Building. It is privately owned, by a family of film loving lovers who reside in Portland, and operated as a joint venture (of sorts) with FAU, as the theaters are also used for film students early in the day. LRT shows foreign and Indie films, not big Hollywood films, and many of them are quite quirky. You can also eat or drink at yours seats, and their small cafe offers decent food even if some of the plates are pedestrian in their plating and prep.
It has 4 auditoriums with 50 seats each. This is where you’ll find once or twice a week, as it is 5 minutes from my home and I’ve been a devotee of foreign films since my Dad introduced me to them at age 17 - and I’ve just celebrated my 70th.

I always enjoy the different films they have available at Living Room Theaters, it's easy to meet friends and have a bite to eat and watch movie. I will say order your tickets ahead because the secret is out and it can be sold out. It's a mature crowd and movies are geared toward film lovers.
