Great live venue for music. Nice and intimate, good sound and you have the option of ordering food and drinks whilst you watch the show you’ve chosen. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Funky Biscuit from Naples. Will be back.

Gettin’ our Groove on

Overall this is a friendly establishment where we saw the groove at a Friday evening I had made reservations ahead of time for two certificates and everything went smoothly. It was a fun atmosphere and great show. Orices of The drinks was pretty average for Florida and they were pretty tasty. We did not eat here so I cannot speak to the food but everything else is fantastic.

A southern Florida club that has cornered the blues post-Grateful Dead markets, both positives. Food is passable, staff is nice, sound is good. Customer service is horrendous. Reached out several times including a refund on a canceled show and have never received a response. Only in toney Boca would they get away with this terrible way of doing business. We have comparable clubs up here in the Northeast that understand the concept of repeat business stems from word of mouth. Boo to the Biscuit.

The Funky Biscuit ranks up there with the best small-to-medium venues in the nation. They consistently book great acts, and the staff works hard to take care of the patrons. Just browsing the endless pictures on the walls is worth admission and a visit. We opted to eat dinner on this visit and had an excellent “Hangover Biscuit” (kitchen sink) and a superb grilled cheese sandwich. The kitchen is small, but they take pride in their work and aren’t just mailing it in. We went on a Thursday for something to fill our week, and Robert John and the Wreck blew us away. Again, they consistently book excellent acts. Parking is always an adventure, but if you circle long enough you will find something, or there is always valet.

As I mentioned in my previous review, I have been coming to The Funky Biscuit for over 10 years, at least 2 times every year and I don't do it more often because I live in Miami and it requires a 2+ hours drive and a hotel stay. Over the years the lighting and sound have improved big time, the service has fluctuated significantly, prior-COVID it was a team and after-COVID they are still finding the right-TEAM.

We have always come for the early show and eaten here, their menu is not fancy but we always find a couple of appetizers, then I normally get the Mahi-mahi and we finish with their famous Funky-Biscuit as desert. This time we changed our routine completely. We went to Louie Bossi's Ristorante with a good friend and his wife that live in Boca for a wine-dinner. We both are wine collectors and I got the corkage fee waived in Louie Bossi's, so it's a win-win for us and the restaurant since our bills are always $200+ and we add the "corkage" into the server's tip.

Going back to the Funky, we arrived around 8:30, we were guided to our table by one of the managers, she was attentive, our server Jacob was super fast, we got water without asking for it within minutes, and he was on top of all his tables the whole night. The show started around 9:10 and it was a blast, the sound was great, lighting very good and the energy of Eric Darius super contagious! The house was packed with people maskless, might I add, which to me is a BLESSING. That's why a large percentage of the country is already vaccinated and protected, seeing people laughing, dancing and enjoying life was the highlight of the night.

Next time I would love to go there and spend my money purchasing Funky Biscuit's food and giving the server a hefty tip. I'm not a fan of paying corkage fees, especially if I uncork my own bottle and serve it myself. After 10 years I'm "one more in the crowd", hopefully one day I'll be a regular and noticed as such at The Funky Biscuit...

Nice Venue & Attentive Staff

Good views and sound at this relatively intimate indoor concert venue. Saw one of our favorite bands for the first time in over a year on a Friday evening for a 6:00 pm show with assigned table seating. We enjoyed it so much we (wife, 18 y.o. daughter & me) were able to buy standing room tickets for the 9:00 pm performance. Friendly service was always there just as you needed them. I’d definitely return!

Good place to see a live band play seven days a week.Stopped in on a Sunday night had a $10 cover charge. No biggie got to see a good band play. Not too busy. Good acoustical sound. Went back a couple nights later and enjoyed another local band. This time there was no cover charge.

Amazing Night Out!

We love this place. The food was amazing and the service was great. We went to see Shaw Davis & The Black Ties. This was my first time seeing him and definitely not our last. He was AWESOME!!! I cannot wait to see him when he comes to Hollwood Beach in 10 days. Great night out! Chris O'leary Band was the opener. I could have listened to them all night . Amazing!

We've been going here for years. This place is an absolute gift to the South Florida music scene. Yeah they have some great ask, the sound is always a terrific. Everybody's nice, they have great ask, the seating is quirky but it's OK, they have gray bags. They repeat myself? Too bad. This place is awesome, we love it, and we hope it stays in business until we're dead. Which hopefully is not next week.
