Don't use this park. They charge $5 a hour for parking and there are no lifeguards. The showers have no water. A complete waste of money

The park is very well kept. The playground equipment brand new & they rent umbrellas/chairs luckily.

Although it may not be if more people write about it. It's a beautiful space and the boardwalk to the waterfront is worth the stroll. It's well-maintained in its natural state and is the perfect place to touch down when you need A break from the civility of vehicles and electronics.
It makes one appreciate the wisdom city planners have for setting aside such valuable pieces of property for the enjoyment of everyone, both residents and visitors.

This was a perfect spot! We got there around 10:30am on a Thursday during spring break and had the beach to ourselves for several hours. Even when people started showing up it wasn’t crowded. Beach was clean and beautiful. The bathrooms were clean. Nothing fancy but great for people who want something clean and simple to enjoy the beach

Nice place to go to explore the beach. We went here because the website said there was a playground but there wasn’t one there. There’s a washroom close to the parking lot. Parking was 2.50 per hour pay in advance terminal thing. Had fun I wish they would update there website about the playground.

Beach was great but typical nasty restrooms with no soap, towels, or toilet tissue. you may want to bring your own and some bleach wipes. Only one toilet and urinal not working. Several outside showers that were ok. Lifeguards were on duty. This park could be great but I don't think the state of FL will ever improve it.

We have been to Cocoa a Beach many times but this time my husband did a bit of research and we used the Sidney Fisher Park to park and get changed.
The facilities are great, clean and accessible. Showers available. There are picnic tables off the beach and a dog walking park. The beach is clean, well staffed (lifeguard) and sun beds etc. The sea is beautiful and warm. Fantastic day.
Only $5 parking charge for all day, great value and a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of Orlando and the theme parks. Worth the 90 minute drive from Davenport to experience the relaxation and Gulf of Mexico.

I echo the previous reviewer: although the website for Cocoa Beach itself says $5, parking was $15. We arrived at noon and left at 3:30, and the person taking money had left by then so not sure how one would pay and enter later in the day. Facilities are minimal but at least there is a bathroom. (Not a great bathroom even though it's claimed it was renovated.) There weren't many people on the beach on a Saturday at least.

First of all the "public park" charges way too much for parking, $15/car! No one parks there at all for that reason.
The play ground and area benches/pavilions are in disrepair and old. Many fireant mounds are on the ground near the playground and benches so beware.
The bathrooms are decent. I don't recall and diaper changing stations there. There are no paper towels, only hand driers.
The access to the beach is in decent shape. There are multiple foot washing stations which is nice.
The beach area had very few people on it. The sand is white and soft. There are some broken shells here and there so careful where you step.
The waves are low and minimal.
The sand has numerous sea shells and would be a great place to stroll with kids to search for shells.

Beautiful beach. Conveniently located. Plenty of parking. Lots of free space for the kids to run around. One of the nicest beaches in Brevard.
