Check in host is a little rude and a little inappropriate in our opinion but the cruise was terrific. They did not have a table large enough to accommodate our group even though we reserved in advance but the food and drinks we fabulous. The alcoholic beverages were very affordable and the narrator was knowledgeable. The scenery can't be beat and they even gave away prizes. Overall it was a great night and I would recommend it.

The only good thing was the price. We informed the person at check-in and boarding that we had someone in a wheelchair. No instructions or accommodations. We were stuck in the first floor crammed in with windows closed. It was extremely stuffy & hot and everyone came down to that floor for food. We could not enjoy the outdoors & the person in the wheelchair could barely see out the dirty window. The entire boat is run down, the bathrooms are disgusting and the food was very low quality. I am not sure what they served as roast beef, but the appearance was disgusting & the person that ordered it could not chew through it. Food served on paper plates with plastic utensils that can't cut through it. Would never go back. You definitely get what you pay for!

Great experience.. food was delicious and we had a good time. They have draws during the cruise and you can purchase alcohol beverages (beer, wine, etc) at a very low price or free all you can drink pop. :-)

This ship knows what they are doing! Extremely organized and on time. Food was delicious and a beautiful cruise on the Halifax River. Crew was great and very reasonable price. Would highly recommend!

Made it this year again. This time the weather was not warm but cold…….we wore light jackets and were cold but made do because they did drop some of the curtains. Some folks went to the deck below because they were cold.
Food was good, kind of a no atmosphere-small crowd this trip. Of course, every trip is different.
Hope to be back in the future. They have no control over the weather…….

Easy sign in process..the earlier you are there the better chance you have to pick you seat of choice. Loading and unloading was smooth as was getting your dinner. Portions were enough and very good. My husband had Prime rib and utensils were plastic and he had no problem cutting it up. I had ham and it was delicious as well. I think the only downfall if I had to find one was the recorded narration was a bit low so it was hard to hear..It was fun to have a few songs on the way back that were lively and were quite well know so on our cruise people were dancing to the music. Overall I would do it again if given the opprtunity. Definately a change from teh 40 below temps that will be hitting our homestate of Maine

Enjoyed the ride & the food; could not hear the narration. It's a no frill paddleboat ride. As others have said it's an older boat but looks well maintained. We saw a dolphin so that was nice. We had shrimp scampi & was very good but not impressed with dessert. You get your own food when they call your section. We were on the top & had a nice breeze not sure how it would be if hot out; bottom deck had a/c but not as good of view

Overall fun experience. Getting to see dolphins swimming beside the boat was awesome. Loading and unloading of the boat was very smooth for a sold out dinner cruise. The food was pretty good. With free soft drinks and a very reasonable priced bar on the upper deck.

My gosh. What’s wrong with you people rating this old moldy tub so high. If it’d been free I’d still feel ripped off. I want my 2 hrs of life back. I’m a 68 yr old mechanic from Ky. I’m not use to the “high life”. I had my expectations low going in but they were able to go lower. We had a boat in Louisville a few yrs ago called the Star of Louisville, same exact idea. But the boat, tho not luxurious by any means, was at least nice, had plenty of room to mingle, food was decent to good, the entire upper deck was open and you could go up later and have a nice view, this thing was packed to the gills, past due for being scrapped, you’ve had better food from the school lunch ladies (lots better) and there was absolutely nothing to see on this “tour”. I wish people would start being honest in their evaluations of places. I’ve about quit looking on any of these sites because a true evaluation of the establishment is nearly impossible.

There is a large building to stay cool in while waiting for the boat's departure. No standing out in the heat or rain...awesome.
Captain Tom came in, introduced himself and went over the rules for a safe adventure.
The boat has inside or outside seating (up a set of stairs)
We saw some dolphins which was a bonus. They swam alongside the boat long enough for a little picture taking. Also the bridges we went under were aesthetically pleasing
Tom & I both had shrimp scampi for dinner. Yummy! Our meals were tasty, appealing to the eye and the portions were more than adequate.

Yes and they provided a marker to write your name on your cup. :)
I have two quest on my reservations that want be able to attend they had an emergency and will not be able to attend.

There are 130 tickets available on each Dinner Cruises. You need to purchase your tickets to reserve them. You can purchase your tickets online or call with your credit card handy 386-402-1353 to purchase your tickets. Come early, first come first serve seating.

Wheelchairs are limited to the lower level. Space is tight but it works. The bathrooms on board are not accessible. There are accessible bathrooms at the check-in office for use before and after the cruise. Loading and unloading is by ramp and the door will accommodate up to a 30 inch chair. You can go out on the front deck during the cruise for viewing.

They sail 7 days a week. Most days multiple times. On the web site DINE and Cruise, there is a calendar where you pick your day and your time, then you book your trip.

It's always best to deal directly with the cruise people. Often schedules change -- so this way you'd know in advance the correct schedule. Usually they have a free phone number.
