Drove down to historic Englewood on Dearborn street. First we drove Manosota key and ended in Englewood. To our surprise Farmers Market (Thursdays, October to May). Both sides of street peppered with little boutiques on both side of road. Worth the visit.

One of the biggest farmers markets I've ever attended. Make sure you try the challah bread. There are 5 or 6 different types. The raisin is amazing.

Abundance of veggies, fruit, various food (was hard to decide what to eat, with many choices). Other booths displayed beautiful artsy goods to view/purchase. Highly recommended taking the time to stroll along & enjoy this event~

Fantastic farmers market. The produce is beautiful, and the vendors are very nice. Best strawberries I have tasted since I used to pick them myself!

This farmers market is a definite stop when we visit the area. Love the diversity and fresh foods. The upgraded area is very nice! Dog friendly too.

This event is growing! We visited the Farmers Market in Englewood and it was just perfect. The sun was out, the band was playing and the people came.
So many beautiful fruits and vegetables.. bakeries, crepes, breads, olive oil, beach bags, hats, flowers and micro greens.

This farmers market is on Thursday mornings and is lots of fun, with a huge variety of vendors. The only improvement I would suggest is additional seating and shade areas, as it goes get hot in the sun.

Love going to the F.M. So much to see and so much great food! And the music is fantastic so many talented people! I had such a great time and even took my time going through all of the shops down the street as well! There is so much to see and wish i had deep pockets as I would buy so many things for my house!

There is still a farmer's market here. The main one closed but there are two more and one has spread out to accept some vendors from the one that closed. Plenty of room still and expect more venders to fill in. Not as big but still worth a stop. Don't let the closure announcement keep you from going. And still plenty of free parking. Only the main intersection is closed but still easy to get to on foot. Plenty to see from produce to crafts to great food and live music. Prices seem fair compared to store and of course fresher. Lots of unique items and foods. Worth a stop.

Great farmers market! We always love going when we are in englewood. Sadly, this market has been permanently closed! They are developing the lot that it sets up on and organizers have not been able to find suitable space to move too. Very sad. It was such a well run and delightful market, we will miss it terribly.

There is public parking on Green Street right behind the Market. There is another large public parking lot 2 blocks away with access from Cedar Street. You can also park diagonally and parallel along adjacent streets. Many options. Parking spaces fill up quickly but people come and go during market hours and you can always find a space.

I know nothing about a flea market affiliated with the farmers market. There is the "Dome" flea market close to it that is open Friday, Saturday, Sunday except for a few weekends in the summer. Perhaps that's what they are thinking about.

Hi Theron Craig.Thanks for reading my review of Englewood Farmers Market. They are open every Thursday from 9:00 to 2:00 from the first week of October through the end of May,except for Thanksgiving. I don't know why they aren't open during summer-perhaps its just too hot.I see you are from Englewood as well, so you know what I mean.I hope you got to visit the market before they shut for summer.All the best!-Kas Barlow
