My clients were scheduled with SAS transportation yesterday for a transfer from the Port of Miami to the Ft. Lauderdale Airport.
Upon contacting the driver as instructed, they were told he could not pick them up. Too much traffic! So my customers were pretty much stranded and paid $90 for cab to get to the airport in Ft. Lauderdale.
When contacting SAS this morning, I spoke with Steve who literally yelled at me because he was stuck in traffic all day yesterday! I simply wanted to inquire why they couldn't be picked up! He continued to rant on about the horrible day he had sitting and waiting in traffic. Finally, I told him I wasn't calling about his day, I wanted to clarify for my customers why they were just left at the port with no ride as scheduled! He again started to rant and finally hung up!
I've never been treated so rudely by a business whom I giving customers to.
I would NEVER use this service again!

Prompt service, great drivers and communication. Great value to get to and from cruise port. Would definitely do again. I would suggest getting off ship early to ensure pick up times are met. The cruise terminal is gridlock after 9am.

They were a no show after 2 hours we got someone else they said they will pick us up by 10 we were there till noon I would never try to use them again

Wouldn’t use again! Used this company from Fort Lauderdale to Miami Port service was good. Arrived at the hotel pretty well on time and got us to the port of Miami on time. When we got off the ship called Steven told him we were outside waiting said he’d be there by 10:00 called him numerous times after that he never showed up. One of his driver pulled up on the street and I talked to him he said oh he’ll be here right away waited another 25 minutes. Never showed or answered his phone after that! Ended up booking an Uber at 11:15 so we wouldn’t miss our flight!

We had an email confirmation and spoke to the driver around 9:15a He told us where to meet between 10a and 11a (Miami cruise port parking garage D) and that we would receive a call when the driver was coming. (Which was to be before 11a) We waited until 11a and texted and called -no response at all. After waiting until 11:15am with NO response, we hired an uber. What a waste of time. SAS could have atleast had the decency to tell us they weren't coming and not have wasted our time.

Picked up from Hotel in Fort Lauderdale and taken to cruise ship in Miami and picked up from ship and taken to airport after cruise. I have used SAS countless times and have never had any problems. Loved that he stayed in business after covid and hasn't raised his prices. Love him!

I debated on whether or not to write a review because I wanted to keep this company as a secret to myself 😀. I’d seen some poor reviews before booking but our experience was super professional and reliable. We weren’t staying at a hotel listed as a pick up spot but when we booked we were given a hotel to meet at, Hilton Marina. On the morning of our cruise out of Miami, we received a text from Nelson confirming the time of pick up. He continued to contact us letting us know he was running a bit late. The vehicle he picked us up in I was immaculate. We made a few more stops at other hotels and were at the port in no time.
On the return trip we received texts again to let us know where to meet him. He circled around the port area a couple of times picking up passengers as they arrived. Once we were full we made our way back to Fort Lauderdale. This was an excellent service that is priced right. I loved the communication.

Have used SAS multiple times. Booked for our party of
10- was offered to pre pay and save money per person. Spoke with Steve the Owner who assured me that if we did not need to use them for the return trip it was completely refundable. So I pre paid. Have called, emailed and even created a new booking to request my refund. None of my emails have been returned.

They communicated well and followed through with the trip from the airport to the cruise terminal but the return trip went awry. Like many others writing reviews, we were left stranded without returns of our calls and texts. Eventually, we paid considerably more for a ride from that company that starts with a U.

Hi I was interested in SAS Transportation but wanted to contact them by email. Does anyone have an email address for them? Also for anyone that has used them, I was wondering if when you get to the airport do we have to call them for a pick up or are they there according to the time your flight comes in? I'm from Canada and I usually travel with my phone on airplane mode so just wondering if we have to call when we arrive.

I’ve been trying since the end of September. Did email, call, Facebook message, message off their site and they are ignoring my correspondence, I filed a claim with the BBB And they won’t return their requests either. I finally reached out to the attorney general in Florida with hope they can help me get back money owed to me.
My story:Emailed them and they said give them 3-4 weeks for the refund. That was September and after numerous emails and I even sent them a PayPal invoice for what they owed me but they will no longer respond to my emails. Not a reputable company. Crazy thing is I just want to use the money to rebook with them for our new cruise in March and they still are ignoring me
Whatever you do DO NOT prepay SAS. They took my money from a canceled cruise, promised me a refund via email and never gave me the money back. I’m out $180 for my party of 9. They are and have been ignoring my emails since September and now the better business bureau is involved and investigating. They got a few people from our September 1,2019 Horizon roll call.

Usually a great company to deal with--great price and you can always count on them. This time, though, a young man picked us up at the cruise terminal and drove us to Ft Lauderdale airport and I swear he drove 85 mph the entire way, even when it was posted 55, 60 and 65! He constantly swerved from one lane to another. So scary!! He got zero tip from us! Will use SAS again but not with him driving!

Go onto the SAS web page and they list all of the hotels that they service. We have always been quite satisfied with the serice that they provide.
I am going on a cruise in 9 days from the Port of Miami with my husband and son and we are flying into Ft Lauderdale the day before. I travel with a 3 wheeled battery powered scooter. Is SAD able to accommodate a scooter like this to the port?

I set things up with them when I book flights - about 4-5 months ahead of sailing - BUT you can so it anytime. I prefer to have all travel plans over and done around the time of final payment for the cruise.
