We went to spend a relaxing weekend in Ft Lauderdale so it was only right to book a facial and message. The staff and most of the accommodations were great!
Thanks Daysi and Leon - the massage and facial were so relaxing!

I was disappointed in the overall experience at Spa Q. Not worth the price at all.
Upon arrival I could not get in. The door to the fitness center is locked and no one was at the check in desk when I tried to get in. A gentleman from the restaurant next door had to help me get in. The facilities are old and not very well maintained. The locker room looked more like the YMCA than a spa at a beach resort. Shower faucet was hanging off the wall and grout looked dingy. (I tired to upload my photo of this but the file is too big for the site to accept) No footwear is provided and the robes are rough and wrinkled.
"Spa Deck" is attached to the pool area so rather than a relaxing atmosphere as described, you are subject to loud music and kids screaming.
Saying the massage was mediocre is being generous. I had an 80 minute massage with a medium/firm pressure request and I felt the masseuse was just rubbing lotion in to my body for the duration with no focus or real attention to actually working out my muscles. Because it is a small facility, they use the rooms for a range of services so the massage room seemed cluttered with facial equipment.
Spa treatment includes access to the pool area. However, you can't use the locker room after the pool. I didn't know this. My main reason for choosing this spa was to get a massage and spend my day at the pool before my late flight home. Being told I could not keep my items in the locker room or use the facilities after the pool was absurd to me. I understand its a small spa, but to me that defeats the whole purpose of having pool access.
Pool was mainly families with lots of children and loud music. However, the pool staff was very friendly and accommodating.
I would not go back or recommend this for anyone looking for an upscale spa experience. For $235 I expected a much better experience.

Arrived early to use the fitness center, the spa’s reception desk is located in the fitness center. Spa itself is compact, efficient use of space. Some of my friends said massage wasn’t good or even worth losing 50 minutes time. Mine was okay, just lots of time when therapist wasn’t massaging, not sure what they were doing.
Tips are prepaid at the desk, so it felt odd not tipping therapist directly. But other reviewers were spot on when it really isn’t worth the cost.
The Hilton itself was great. Rented a cabana and had lunch by the pool. The complementary parking and drinks were nice.

I went in for a facial and massage with a Groupon. Daisy did the facial and Pauline was the massage therapist. Pool area was upstairs outside of the spa which shares a small gym. They offered a comp drink ticket to get wine/champagne, beer or soda from the bar. The valet covered the parking with a validated ticket.
There is no relaxation lounge. Just a waiting area. There is a sauna in the locker room where you can keep your things during the service. My massage was almost 40 minutes and I did let them them know it was shorter than 50 so I was given additional drink.
The esthetician was really nice. She did seem to do massages too and maybe that would have been a safer choice. However, I don’t think the facial is worth it at all. I left there with worse skin than I came in with. I’m not talking about breakouts from extractions. My skin looked burnt and scarred. The treatment was different from any facial I’ve gotten. I do feel that the scrubbing was rough and maybe the towels placed on face were too hot but what do I know. I’m not the expert. They blamed the outcome on my skins reaction to the products they used, but it was most likely technique. I tried the samples and nothing reacted adversely. Daisy also mentioned something about sunblock after but I’m sunblock queen. I had on super hoop and tarte tinted moisturizer with spf. What kind of spa on the beach doesn’t offer sunblock? She said they didn’t have that. Anyway, I don’t feel they correctly rectified the issue, but they emailed to apologized and called, but I don’t even want to deal with them. The staff is nice and I’m not bashing them at all. They doing 3 jobs in one, but it’s just not worth the price. This service was comparable to local small business. The small pool and the area overlooking beach was great though.
The reason it’s hard to get someone on the phone is because they seem to be short staffed to do Covid. The therapists are answering the phones and performing services. It’s just not worth the money. The Westin is far superior for facial and massage. The Westin is very professional and staffed well! The Hilton was a waste of money. It’s just not a high end feel, but you’re spending over $200 on services. Especially after having to see a dermatologist directly after. I get facials all the time. I would gladly spend $250 on a service that’s worth it.

I spoke with spa rep weeks before trip. Booked package for me and my best friend. We arrived and were told package does not exist. We were also told if my best friend got the facial, it was going to cost more than massage. So, because we could not get package as booked, we opted to still get a much needed massage. Manager told us we would need to pay cancellation fee. After a ten minute conversation, she agreed to not charge such crazy fee. For a Hilton, we expected much more. Spa is very basic...no frill and does not look like a spa. Therapist waved towards the massage room without speaking. Was told several times to slow down. Therapist acted like we were on an assembly line. Awful experience. Could not pay me to return.

I called several times (days before) to cancel my appointment and no one ever answered. They charged me a $65 cancellation fee. I asked for a refund and was told no. Go read their reviews on Groupon... do yourself a favor and stay away from this awful place!

Being a local I purchased a " Spa Day"...couples massage, use of Gym. Cabana by the pool, champagne toast etc.
It was AWESOME.
Laurana, who handles the Gym and Spa reservations is AMAZING.
I have been to Spas that were poorly run...SHE does a great job with a warm personality. PLEASURE to deal with.
My Massage therapist-Catherine- SUPERB--- I am an athlete and her deep tissue was one of the best I have ever had. If you like an incredible DEEP massage---ASK FOR HER.
The Pool service was Jissela---she never stops moving--- great service with a great attitude.
SPECIAL Leadership shout out to Head Chef Nicole Rhone---not only does she oversee some of the top sea side restaurants Like " S3"- Sun Sand and Surf.....she was over seeing bar operations that night by the pool and even Helped the staff pick up used towels ! Not Many top Hotel leaders would pitch in when help was needed. She DID. I was amazed. Real Leaders step in when needed. She is TOP SHELF in my book.
Great experience....nice facility....Great People....great customer service. THANK YOU.

I offered of one of my costumer a gift card as a Christmas present. She was trying to make an appointment through the phone. No one answer for the following three weeks. This is complete embarrassing.. their excuse was because they were so busy. Really?

The only reason this is getting 4 stars is because of Luis, the person who greeted us at the pool and gave us blankets because he saw my boyfriend and I were freezing. I had a groupon for a Couples massage as well as a cabana rental for the whole day. The girl at the spa front desk was very polite. However, every time I had to call them, they would NEVER answer. Maybe after 20 calls in one day, they would answer once. It was like winning the lottery. Such a hassle to book an appointment or even ask a question. The massage therapists were really nice and comforting. The massage therapist I got was nice but he started using his phone during the massage and I heard his phone vibrating a couple of times which startled me and I woke up while I was trying to relax. I don’t know if I would come back here because of all the hassle it was to simply get in contact with the spa. Not even the manager answered the phone. Thank you Luis for the amazing service!

My wife and I tried to book a spa package and maybe later a weekend staycation however it's was just to difficult dealing with the spa. After trying to book and call the Spa for 3-4 weeks to check and see what's available on certain dates. They were just to rude and never really got back to us with information on the dates available. After repeated calls and asking to speak to a manager we still didn't get manager to help us. I'm a previous Hilton employee not here in Lauderdale though, so I was kinda blown away by employees that don't want to work or return calls. Just unbelievable really we event spoke to the front desk and they were not helpful either so stay away from this location. They don't want your business obviously.
