I think Savory’s is probably closest, about 1/2 mile away. We eat there upon occasion, decent food, reasonable prices, good deal on earlybirds. Google Savory’s and see what you think. Lasagna is very good. A bit past that is a Chinese restaurant. Good luck!

Hi Lynn - here is some guidance Friendly dogs are welcome in the gardens as long as they are on a leash. Owners are required to supervise and clean up after their dogs. They are not allowed on boardwalks. Pinellas County is not responsible for the behavior of any dog. Bites or injury should be reported to Animal Services. The rules are intended to protect everyone's use and enjoyment of the park. Violation of park rules may result in a citation or removal from the park.

It's totally free....and if you have a chance/time/energy...go to the historical Florida buildings in the park next door to the Gardens. All of the homes & buildings have been moved from other locations throughout the state and have very interesting histories. Some of the buildings are furnished to their period (mostly late 1800's to early 1900's) and have guides who will walk you through a 15 minute tour. They have old churches, schoolhouses, a firehouse, a general store as well as private homes. You'll love the Botanical Gardens and the preserved buildings are a bonus...have fun!

The lights are on every night from 5:30 to 9:30 through 12/31.

The Holiday Lights are on each night thru 12/31 from 5:30 to (:30 nightly. We ask a $4 donation from each visitor age 13 and over. Hope to see you soon.
