A bit pricey for this basic zoo

This is a basic zoo. Definitely good for young children, as there were some interactive areas. We found it a bit on the boring side, but it was a warm day in early March and most of the animals were hiding in the shade of trees, in the back of pen area, or not visible at all. The only animal that was up close was the giraffe, as you had the opportunity to feed them. I do have to say the foliage/botanicals were quite lovely.

A wonderful zoo to visit with all members of the family or friends, it has kayaking, zip lining, a children’s petting zoo with a small aquarium for the little ones, and even interaction with the kangaroos, and one can walk through the bird aviary.
You may even feed some of the animals with the food provided at the stations (for a small sum).
The docents are very helpful and knowledgeable.
Be alert however, for the extraordinarily expensive food offered for consumption by the picnic area inside the zoo, for what it at best, mediocre for the money.
One can bring food from home, and get one’s hand stamped for re-entry,to eat at tables, just outside of the entrance.

An Amazing Zoo

Really enjoyed this zoo experience. I had not been to a zoo in over 20 years but I loved this experience. So many different species! It was wonderful to see them in the "natural" habitats. While I was traveling with a group of 8 adults, it was nice to see the school kids exploring nature with all the different nature tents they had available. Loved seeing the cheetah and the African rock python were amazing!!! Would love to go back sometime in the future

Wonderful experience

We really enjoyed our time at this zoo. It is small but definitely took us 3.5-4 hours to walk through the entire park. We also did the kayak tour, which was a nice enjoyable guided tour about 30 minutes. We were able to see lots of the animals up close and in action. I would recommend this zoo and I would go back. You can bring a small cooler with snacks and they do have refillable water jug fountains.

Had a blast! Loved the sloth!

We had some time to kill before our flight left and realized the zoo was close to our hotel and MLB airport. We had a great time! Huge fan of the sloth and monkey exhibits. We didn’t have the kids with us on this trip but they would have had a blast. There is a splash park and zip line over the zoo. 100% would recommend.

Wonderful, well kept zoo

This is a wonderful medium sized zoo. The animals have space, beautifully landscaped and nicely laid out. Helpful volunteers and staff everywhere. Fun to kayak around the zoo with a guide. Look forward to the aquarium they are fundraising for.

Amazing Zoo

What an amazing zoo. The zoo itself is very well done. You really don't even feel like you're in a zoo, you feel more like you're on an adventure. The more natural environments the animals are in really makes this zoo stand out. Also, there are many great experiences you can do that you just don't find in other parks. We really wanted to do the kayak adventure but unfortunately, we ran out of time. It's on my list though if we manage to get back to the area. We did manage to feed the Giraffes which was amazing. The park is clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
This is a great experience for any age. We had a mix of adults and teens, and everyone had a great time. Highly recommend a visit to Brevard Zoo.

Totally worth the entry price.

At first we thought the tickets seemed a bit pricey but after seeing all the positive reviews we decided to go check it out. We were a group of three, one senior and two middle-aged. We all enjoyed the zoo very much. The enclosures are large and the animals have enrichment activities. You can feed some of the animals and walk amongst the kangaroos. You can kayak around parts of the property and there is a small train too. There’s even a tree top trek and zip line. The visitor walkways have lots of shade. Bathrooms are available at the entry and about midway thru. Food and drink options are also available.

Small but Excellent! Really like to see the animals in settings that approximate their natural environments. There is a section where you literally walk amongst the kangaroos. You can feed the giraffes by hand. Well worth a visit!

Par une journée plus fraiche .. Trip Advisor m’indique que ce zoo est 4 étoiles 1/2…
Visiter un zoo boff pas mon genre mais bon !!!
On y va quand même puisqu’il y a plusieurs commentaires positifs.

Sur place .. première impression !!!
C’est très beau .. très propre et bien aménagé.
Divisé en 5 sections des passerelles nous permettent de circuler très près des animaux. Premier stop WoW .. on peux nourrir les jolies girafes🦒 .. trop cool

Aussi les enclos pour oiseaux cockatiel et son voisin.. trop nice des beaux spécimens qui viennent se percher près ou directement sur vous!!
Les lions et autres animaux sont tous a proximité des visiteurs sans vitres ou autres obstacles..
c’était vraiment une belle activité!
Un petit zoo mais ho combien agréable!
N’hésitez pas .. malgré que nous avions tous visité plusieurs zoo .., celui ci donne une visite charmante.. plus intime et les animaux semblent tous très bien dans de vaste enclos!
