A great day with the family! The folks who run the tour are super nice and informative. Lots of dolphins and they even stayed out a bit longer than posted as we came across a large pod of dolphins on the way back up river. Highly recommned this.

Excellent tour by the nicest people. Super clean and comfortable boat. Look forward to doing the cruise again.

We had a wonderful mid-day cruise. Tour was well run and guides were knowledgeable about all. The highlight was the many dolphins that came right up to the boat! I would highly recommend taking this cruise on the Indian River Lagoon area.

Bill and Billy were wonderful hosts for our two hour river tour. They certainly shared a bunch of fun information about the variety of wildlife we were seeing. They also gave a great tour of the sights and houses along the river. We saw a ton of dolphins. I can't wait to take our next visitors on this tour! Book this - You won't be disappointed!

What a wonderful day trip. We had such a nice time. The tour guides were so friendly and informative. Got to talk with Billy a bit and learned so much about the area and wildlife.
We got to see several dolphins. There's plenty of room to move around on the boat. Plus you get a voucher for the restaurant... Which was delicious BTW. Can't wait to come back. They're getting a new boat soon too, so that will be pretty awesome!

We had a wonderful morning cruise! The captains were very knowledgeable and friendly. We are new to Brevard County and loved learning some of the history of the area. The dolphins following our boat was such a treat! We will be planning to join one of the sunset cruises very soon. It was a great experience!!
We had lunch at Grills, which shares the same parking lot. Highly recommend!

This was our fourth tour with Good Natured River Tours. When we have out-of-town visitors, we like to do this as Capt. Bill, Kelly, and Billy give a lot of interesting history as well as other facts about Indian River and Merritt. This family-owned operation is really top notch. All three know the Indian River very well and are extremely conversant with the flora and fauna as well as the history. They took the time to make certain that we experienced the wildlife in the best way possible, pointing out dolphins, manatees, and birds as we traveled. I expected a blasé by-rote commentary, but not so—they were as enthusiastic as we were. Highly recommended for anyone and all ages.

We had so much fun on this tour. This is family run and very friendly. The history of the area is fascinating and the nature sightings were great including the animals and also the plants. There are concessions on board and a small gift shop that includes locally made items. This tour is something we would return to again and again.

Was the best boat tour we'd been on. Captain was very knowledgeable and gave lots of information. His son also made sure we could see what his Dad was telling you about. Saw loads of dolphins! Osprey and blue herons. Th boat was old however we were told a new boat is being made and will be in use soon. Certainly would love a return visit if we manage to visit the use again. The grills next door served us a delicious meal would highly recommend both!

Family crew were very friendly and helpful, started with covering everything required to keep everyone on the boat safe, then proceeded for a two trip exploring the Indian river, crew pointed out wildlife and local sites as we traveled, and gave impressive history of the area.
With the local wildlife you can never guarantee sittings, however we saw lots of different birds and many dolphins during the tour, and the crew provided interesting information about the wildlife, the crew tried to find some manatees and took us to some places where they can often be spotted, unfortunately we didn’t find any this time, but that can happen and didn’t make the trip any less enjoyable, this is deffinately a trip I would repeat if in this area again

Best deal is on Groupon you can get huge discounts for 2 or 4 people and a $5 gift certificate for Grills restaurant per person!. Grills is righ next to Boat.

I walk with a cane. Is the boat handicapped accessible?

Yes. Our vessel is built to be 100% handicap accessible. This includes the restroom and cabin.
Motorized wheelchairs or scooters are not permitted aboard per U.S.C.G due to weight restrictions.

sorry but I don't know. Being a dog owner I personally would not take my pet with me because I wouldn't want to be distracted and miss out on something trying to keep an eye on my pet. Also you move about on the boat to catch views of dolphins or manatees and I wouldn't want my pet to trip up anyone or accidentally get stepped on. just my personal opinion.

My brother has an emotional support dog (5 lb small dog). Would the River Tour be advisable for us. Does the restaurant allow support dogs?

I would call them about that. The people that run it are wonderful & very accommodating. It is a very relaxing & enjoyable experience. If they don't answer when you call leave a message & they get back to you in a timely manner.

It leaves from Grills (a restaurant) I got the tickets on groupon. You get lunch discount at grills via groupon.

We saw a family of four dolphins on the morning tour. Lots of info on local homes. Fun trip and enjoyable time very well worth your time and money. Bring camera and binoculars if you can
