Jesus Christ Superstar performance. This first came out in 1973. Famous musical but the performance was marred by an EXCESSIVELY LOUD orchestra. Lots of patrons complained. People were stuffing tissues in their ears!!

Saturday 2/4 attended the 8:30 PM show at Daniels Pavilion to see the Earth Wind and Fire Tribute Band (EWFTB). The concert was a major disappointment.
For some reason the acoustics were so bad that the band/singers stopped playing several times and pleaded with the tech staff to enhance the volume of the singers' microphones so that they could be heard above the music. Attendees even spoke out in loud voices asking for proper volume adjustment. It was not until the end of the concert that adjustments were finally made.
Before the beginning of the show, a back up singer/musician in the front right section tried to get the attention of the tech person in the balcony to adjust (raise) the volume of his equipment which appeared to be linked to the other three singers? He knew the equipment was not functioning properly, but no one on the Artis staff was paying attention or could not make the adjustments so that the singers could be properly heard.
The net result is that attendees left in droves, which was embarrassing for the band who was desperately trying to do their best.
Whether there were technical difficulties that could not be managed, or this was simply the wrong venue for what was a large group of musicians like EWFTB, it was so disappointing to the many fans of Earth Wind and Fire who looked forward to an evening of live, nostalgic singing and music.

I took my cousin to to see the Chihuly glass on display at the Baker Buseum. It was really beautiful. They also had a great baseball exhibit and other fine art on exhibitition. Not too large, so a good place to visit with older guests.

I purchased tickets in September for Bernadette Peters as a Christmas gift for a friend who would be staying with me in March 2022. At that time nowhere on the website were there requirements stating vaccine card or negative COVID test required for this concert 3/18/22. Discovered when looked on website last week when a pop up appeared. Called the Patron services advised that regulation added 11/21. Asked about refund policy if I did not agree with admission requirements. Representative told me that if I chose not to get tested ahead of time I could arrive early, have my nose swabbed, wait 5 minutes and enter like a "NORMAL" person. I asked him to repeat what he said, after which I said "so are you stating that because of my personal health choices, I am not "NORMAL"...to which he replied "well all of us here have been vaccinated". I think ARTIS-NAPLES needs to review their "diversity" training policy with their employees....I will not be patronizing this venue again.

This is a beautiful venue and promises a delightful evening out with live music/entertainment. It’s unfortunate in a city, where a large portion of the population are seniors especially during season, that the management staff is not trained with respect to the Americans with Disability Act. We were treated rudely and told that my task trained medical service dog was NOT a service dog because he was “too small.” That is a direct violation of the ADA. A service dog can be any size, any breed. The usher called the manager who called police. I finally won and saw the show but it was difficult to enjoy after being held outside for more than 30 minutes while they debated. Their ignorance of the law was only proven by the copy I carry in my phone and my medical documentation which legally they are not allowed to request. I would NEVER go back. No one should be treated this way and comments made to me by venue employees are too discriminating to even repeat here. Suffice it to say, if you are perfectly healthy, enjoy. If not, stay far away.

We attended two venues walkable from our Naples Hilton hotel. Both were wonderful! Settings very comfortable and very clean. Staff was very helpful.

We attended 3 shows in November; Mannheim Steamroller, David Koz and Come From Away. All three performances were top shelf and well attended. The current vaccination requirement and/or negative Covid test requirement made us feel more protected especially now that a new more contagious variant has reared its ugly head. Patrons that we spoke with at all 3 events shared our sentiments. The fact that the average age of attendees at Artis is older makes attendees more at risk. A prudent decision has been made by management. Thank you Artis.

Nice to attend a wonderful live Pops Concert. Great singer of Rogers,Hart, and Hammerstein songs backed by the Naples philharmonic . Freedom from the Pandemic . . As usual it was a top show with an appreciative audience

Do the rear box seats overhang the orchestra? Which seats are better rear box first row or Orchestra Center Row O near the aisle?
Are the seats in Daniels Pavillion folding chairs? They are not the same as Hayes Hall are they?

First couple of front row seats (about 4 rows) are folding. Rest are NOT. They are tight but comfortable.

In the upper boxes, no.
Example: you’re in a rightside box, then the rightside side & rear of the stage is blocked. It’s even worse if you’re in a back row of that box. Estimate 1/4 of the stage is blocked from view.
Upper stage boxes allow you to see down on the center stage versus the Orchestra rows A thru H you can’t see past the front chairs of the symphony.
