A visit to this place is how we start one of our vacation days on sanibel. Kids love searching for shells and this place never disappoints. They always find shells and an unexpected surprise or two from the sea. Go early for the best shells. Go anytime for shelling with kids. They will be entertained for hours.

We took a boat to the Captiva Pass. We saw manatee and a pod of dolphins 🐬 jumping. It’s a remote beautiful spot to rehab and enjoy the natural surroundings

Been to this area several times and dolphins are usually in the area! I see a lot of people fishing there and beach combing.

What a great beach for walking and exploring. Shells everywhere and great views. Good for wading and swimming. Very limited parking.

beautiful spot! I guess that's why it's so busy all the time. If you get there early---very early you might get a parking spot. Feeling lucky??? Maybe someone will leave. VERY little parking at this hot spot

What a walk! Hardly any place better! Pretty much just me and my lover momma. And shells. Lots and lots of shells. Did it rain while you were there? Go directly to the beach then. Fresh shells will have washed ashore.
