I tried NHDS after having a "membership" with another place and was very pleasantly surprised. The facility is super clean, and laid out such that you can relax before your treatment/massage. The staff has remained the same I during the short four months that I have been visiting there. My needs are mostly deep tissue massage and Tracy R. is the therapist to see for that. She knows sports injuries and knows how to knock out those knots that are deep seeded in large muscle groups. I was likewise impressed with the variety of spa options NHDS has: Salt room, steam sauna, float room and Vichy bath. I plan on experiencing all of them! I wish I had found this place before I wasted my money on a corporate massage outlet (where you never saw the same staff more than twice).

My husband and I had a prior appointment with another day spa, but the therapist ended up sick. So we called around to other places and found this one and there was a spot available within the hour so we booked it! Glad that our appointment was canceled for the other day spa. We had the best spa day ever! Megan and Vicky were very professional! The place was very clean which is a plus, plus in my book! We'll go back again!

Great Spa! Quite and never over booked. This spa offers some of the best services anywhere! I love all the people and the atmosphere can not be beat if you are looking for a day of pampering.

I scheduled my first appointment here with Meagan. She was so nice and showed me around the spa. It is decorated very nicely, relaxing, and clean. Then came my massage. Meagan asked me what areas were bothering me and I told her and she gave special attention to those areas. Her hands are magic! I will definitely be back!

have been here a couple of time and have been thrilled both times. Bought my best friend a gift certificate she will be using next week - I am sure she will love it too. What I really love about Natural Healing Day Spa is the way you feel when you walk in. It is very comfortable and inviting with low lights and soft music -- not the bright lights, phones and sterile feeling of the chain massage places. This feels like home -- a comfortable massage feel. You must try the Vichy Shower Body Glow - I had never heard of this but just loved it. I did this after the massage and the sugar scrub took the oils off my body and left my skin soft and refreshed. I am looking forward to trying the cedar steam sauna, reflexology hot towel foot massage, well, I really want to do it all ;-) They provide so many wonderful services -- you will easily find something you will enjoy!

I rarely give full score to anything.
But this one is an exception! This is service all the way and beyond.
Me and two colleagues were staying in Orange Park for work. As we were mostly occupied with work, we didn't have much free time. On Tripadvisor I found that this had high ratings, so I made contact to check the opening hours.
As we worked alot, we weren't available during the opening hours. But that was no problem at all for them. They made room for all of us, after their opening hours on a sunday! I know good service, but this was way beyond that!
So how was the spa itself?
They have lots of different body treatments. But we all took 90 min of full body massage. And this is 90 mins hands-on, so you get what you really pay for.
It was so relaxing I almost fell asleep several times.
And when we were finished I could have sworn that it was not 90 minutes. Unfortunately my watch disagreed with me, it was so relaxing the time went incredibly fast.
So I have to say that they have gone far in making the experience as relaxing as possible. I know I've used the word relaxing alot now. but this is probably the one word that describes this experience the most... RELAXING!!
I am definitely coming back here. Absolutely worth the money!

This is a wonderful place for a massage. Suzette is very friendly, caring, and professional. She listens to my concerns and knows exactly how to help. I have suffered from pain in my hips for years. I have tried both physical therapy and medication to no avail. Nothing seemed to help. It took about 3 visits to be pain free. Lovely little place. The inside is much nicer than the outside.

Ever since my favorite day spa closed a few years ago, I've been in search of a suitable happy place to visit. I've now found that happy place! Natural Healing Day Spa exceeded my expectations on almost every level! I've passed by their location often, but never given it much consideration -- maybe because of location, maybe because it doesn't look like much from the outside. Whatever the reason, my reservations about this place are gone! They are situated on a corner near the police station and county park. I had an appointment for a full day of beauty treatment on a Saturday. When I arrived, I was immediately impressed with the warm ambiance and cozy waiting area. I usually don't like steam/sauna experiences, and I laughed when she told me I would be in there for 30 minutes. I almost opted to 'sit that part out', but due to the extreme cleanliness and welcoming setup, I decided to give it a try. They have made a believer out of me!
Erica provided a most relaxing and amazing facial treatment. I liked the fact that she wasn't pushy about the products. She listened to my concerns and habits and detailed her suggestions, but didn't try to push me into a regimen I wouldn't follow. I also liked the fact that there were sample sizes for me to buy instead of committing to a full size product that I may or may not use.
After a nice lunch, Megan applied the body wrap in a professional fashion. She paid particular attention to modesty and propriety during every aspect of the wrap process. When it was time to transfer to the Vichy shower for rinsing, her technique was again exceptional. The only complaint I have about this portion of the treatment is the shower pressure was not as strong as I would have liked - but that is a personal preference issue.
My day finished up with a much-needed tension-releasing massage by Petra. I was already de-stressing from the treatments thus far, so Petra's job was a little easier. She provided just the right amount of attention to each stress area and made sure she didn't agitated painful areas. I will say that she did massage deeper into the muscles than I usually prefer, but she was responsive to my requests for less pressure when needed. She was friendly and proficient! She even offered suggestions for treatment I can try at home a particular area of pain I have.
This spa is by appointment only, so you likely won't find someone there at your beck and call if you just drop in. That's actually ok by me! I literally felt like I was the center of attention the whole day, even during the one overlapping appointment that I noticed. My husband treated me to a full day of being spoiled, and these ladies ensured that I was indeed spoiled. The prices were not near as much as I expected for such personalized services either. I will definitely be back!
