Very nice experience. We always wanted to visit & finally went. Nice place to visit for all ages. My daughter is 32 & really enjoyed it.

We had a lot of fun here! There are multiple floors with many exhibits for all ages. Our 4-year-old son loved the hurricane simulator, the dinosaur dig station, the paper airplane launcher, the water tables, and the climbing structure. The price is extremely reasonable for what’s inside!

We visited this centre way back, maybe 15 years ago, and it was a really good science centre. So with a wet day due in Orlando, we decided to visit again. Big mistake. $70 for two of us plus my daughter, only to find a musuem in poor order, with mediocre displays (which didn't actually have much in the way of description), and a workforce that didn't seem very keen to interact. One to avoid. And particularly disappointing as the US usually does these things so well.

Do NOT go to IMAX theatre. They indoctrinate the kids with female fish “choosing to be female” and males “birthing” babies instead of all the other wonders of the The Great Barrier Reef.

We can understand why the Orlando Science Center is such a popular attraction and a valuable educational tool for youngsters. Uncover fossils in the giant dig pit called "Jurassic Ridge," examine real fossilized dinosaur eggs and discover now extinct inhabitants of the ancient oceans. But what about adults? Even 82-year-old retirees can learn something, like the diverse ecosystems of Central Florida, the odd peculiarities of the universe and our place within it and the fundamentals of forces such as electricity, gravity and Newton's laws. Located at 777 East Princeton Street, near the Harry P. Leu Gardens, the Orlando Science Center is a private science museum designed to provide experience-based opportunities for learning about science and technology and to promote public understanding of science. Established in 1955, the center moved into its current 207,000-square-foot structure in 1997. It is six times larger than the original facility. Among the current exhibits are NatureWorks, located on the first floor, which describes the richness of the natural world, with a focus on the diverse ecosystems of Central Florida; DinoDigs, on the fourth floor, which features fossil replicas of dinosaurs and prehistoric sea creatures and ancient land and marine reptiles; Our Planet, also on the fourth floor, which reveals the dynamic forces and systems that shape Earth and uncovers the mysteries of the solar system; and Observatory, on the sixth floor, where Florida's largest public refractor telescope and an array of smaller yet still powerful telescopes are strategically placed for star gazing. In addition, the museum has two movie theaters that show both educational and Hollywood films as well as laser light shows.

Great for my 4 year old

Visited here with a couple of 4 year olds and they loved it! They have a whole section for kids — totally hands on. They also enjoyed the hot wheels exhibit and dinosaur exhibit. Parking is $5 plus admission. If they had a restaurant (I think they did??), we did not find it. Maybe some additional signage… overall if I lived in the area I would get a pass just for the kids area!

It was okay. Most of the exhibitions are obviously for kids, which I respect; I would've loved to have a science center like this when growing up

The dinosaur section was the highlight for me

All in all, take your kids and invest a couple of hours into learning

Fun visit for adults and kids.

Fun, hands on exhibits for adults and children. Staff are friendly and helpful. The Dino hall is full of interesting information and of course, dinosaurs. You can easily spend 3-4 hours here if you watch a few films. The cafe has healthy food options.
