Much like the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon, Cross Country Creek is perfect for a lazy tranquil bob around the entire perimeter of the park. There are possibly not enough rings as they disappear over to the wave pool but the ones made for two are very good to relax in and float around. We went around a couple of times, which felt like it beautifully took ages. This for me is one of the main perks of visiting a water park and it's fabulous.

Tired of walking? Feet hurting? Need to slow down? Well, here is your answer. Cross Country Creek is a lazy river that floats along at 2-3 mph on various sizes and styles of tubes. When it is crowded, the tubes are hard to come by, but just watch at an entry point for a few minutes and they will float by unoccupied. The ride is over 3000 ft around and makes a full circuit around the park. It has a lot of thematic injected attractions around the loop for fun. The biggest detractor is the other people having their brand of fun in the water. Overall, enjoyable and low pressure ride.

O Cross Country Cross é uma piscina com correnteza em torno do parque. Um local para relaxar e também para se divertir. Há 7 locais de embarque e desembarque ao longo do percurso onde você pode pegar bóias individuais ou duplas. Não há limite de altura ou idade para esta atração.

I love Lazy rivers and this one is the best, it is massive and runs all around the outside of Blizzard Beach, 2 laps seems to take hours, just grab a rubber ring and drift away, it is so relaxing especially when it isn't too crowded.

We had a very relaxing experience floating around the Cross Country Creek or “crazy river” as my 4 yr old called it.
Basically you hop on at various points throughout the park; grab a single, double or childs’ tube and float.
Make sure to take sufficient breaks to top up on the sun tan lotion though or learn the hard way as I did. You can easily lose an hour or two floating through the creek.
You can exit at various points along the way but its a nice way to get around the park.

Lasts as long as you care for it. last year I think we did three complete loops in one go before getting out. There are points to get in and out all around the park. so this might be a way for you to closer to that water slide you want to try. Several places where there is cold water spraying at you, and by cold, I mean refrigerated! when you hear the screams inside of the tunnel that's because the water is so crazy cold, it's a melting glacier after all! There are 4 different floatation devices provided... a small white 'tube' probably for infants (no hole in the middle) a big blue inner tube, an even bigger double hole inner tube thing, and pool noodles. - They are all just floating in the river so if you don't see what you want wait a while and something will come by. For me the most enjoyment comes once I get two or three pool noodles and use them to float. I already mentioned the cold water in the cave, there is also the house where a crocodile (?) has a cold, ever so often he sneezes and cold water shoots out the chimney. There is cold water dripping off the minutes on the clothes line, and I want to say one more place. if I were to give anything negative about the lazy river it's that the unused tubes seem to bunch up in the water and when you get caught up in them it's a bit of a hassle. but that's nit picking. Our first trip to Blizzard beach was last year, and I suspect we will be visiting at least one water park from now on during our annual trip (and probably this one Blizzard Beach)

Es un rio con corriente que rodea el parque.
Tenes gomones simples o dobles en los cuales podes relajarte mientras recorres todo el parque.
Tenes diferentes lugares donde entrar o salir, por lo tanto tambien sirve de transporte si no queres caminar.
Cuando te sature la adrenalina podes relajarte y seguir disfrutando!!!

Both relaxing and fun, this is great way to spend any spare time at the park. We didn't even bother getting sun beds because you can just chill going around this (unless there's a storm warning). The tubes always seem few and far between but just get in and float around for a bit and you then come across them.

This lazy river is a lot of fun. There are a number of spots where extra cold water is falling on you or being squirted at you. The scenery is beautiful. There are plenty of access points around the park and the current keeps everyone moving along.

I do like the lazy river / cross country creek at Blizzard Beach. Despite all the blizzards, this park isn't as cold as you might think. The lazy river lets you float along all the way round. We usually go round once. Beware of a couple of splashes you may get on the way as they are cold. Not to be missed.....great attraction
