I took my 7 and 10 year old grandchildren and they had a good time, however there were lots of kids without adults with them. They raced around pushing kids down and rough housing. The staff didn't do much about it. Parents just drop off their kids and expect them to be watched. One reviewer complained that the staff "let" her daughter and friends walk out. It's not a daycare center. Overall it's a fun experience and he staff plays skating games and contests. Too bad they can't clean it up a bit and enforce the rules.

My family has been to this location in Pinellas Park several times. It is definitely old school in that it is a wood floor, and there is carpet all over just outside the rink. The shoe rental is ok, but sometimes they seem a bit slimey to me. You are welcome to bring your own skates, so if you have them, I would. The snack bar area has tables that should be fixed or replaced and the bathrooms could generally use some attention. The best thing about this roller rink is the Saturday morning skating lessons for kids. The women who teach these sessions really pass on their love of learning. The worst thing about this roller rink is that it is not patroled very well - my child has been knocked down without any really acknowledgement by the speedy skater. There are some general rules posted, but some don't seem to be followed. It is a fun time, but could be much better with some upgrades and attention to the rules.

it was a very fun and cool time and the food was super good and I recommend going there. I also thought it was clean and it had a nice smell and it did not stink.

Went akating with 5 yr old granddaughter.Adults have to sign a waiver in case they hurt themselves skating. Understood, except they had no answer for faulty euipment like skates???
Bathrooms were filthy and when I did fall not any of the 5 employees came to help me up, ask if I was OK, if I needed assistance getting skates off or give me ice. It was not busy so why didn't they help. Sure enough I fractured the end of my radius bone.
I WILL NEVER GO TO ASTRO SKATE AGAIN!!!!

They let my teenage daughter and friends walk away in the middle of the night.there were no adults working and they have no clue how to look out for children not to mention the fact that they are all bullies that work there I would never let a child go there again

They don't accept credit cards and charge you to use your debit card. The staff are too busy socializing for any customer service.

We went there for a friends birthday and while the staff are super nice- the customers were not.Several bully kids about 12 years old were a rolling nightmare! They pushed, shoved or knocked over littler kids who could barely skate. One of them even recorded it on their phone, laughing. Where are the parents? The employee who skates around for safety never did anything about the bullies despite it continuing to happen. I did see one employee help a victim up but never reprimanded the culprits. I understand they should not be policeman and can't have eyes everywhere. Parents please keep an eye on your little ones.
