I was Tboned and not a fan of driving so I decided to take the bus and it’s been great! I arrive at work relaxed and it costs me at most $5 a day RT. (Use Flamingo for fare) My car costs so much more and often I couldn’t find parking arriving at work. I get off the shuttle closer than where I used to park. I’m only offset about 40 minutes and I am more relaxed not dodging the rush hour jockeys. This is the best kept secret to get around town. The US19 bus is similar to a NYC subway and could use some brightening up but otherwise I’m on it for 20 min tops.

If it wasn't for the dedication from these drivers no one would be going anywhere. People need to grow up. Have some respect for them. They deserve the right.

The bus drivers are the rudest I have met in all of America and the world of buses I have been on in my travel in st pet6 and in sarasota these bus drivers are the meanest and rudest i have ever met in my time needing to use the buses here. They dont stop and when they do they say rude things and do rude things to customers and they try to stop and take 30 min breaks while people need to get somewhere i. Time and you can never get where you need to be on time. I have traveled the world met my share of bad buses in Asia as well and this has been the worst experience with drivers I have ever had most buses go consistantly and take breaks when someone else takes over the bus and they do not try to bully and boss the passangers.

Awful service down the beach coast route (555). No schedule at all, you can wait 20 minutes, or over an hour. Their app to find out when the bus may show up is equally awful.

They have the rudest bus drivers I have ever met in my entire life. Driver refused service because of a health issue, so I will walk, bike, Uber, Lyft, or just drive my own car from now on.

PSTA....DAY TRIP...We were fortunate, there was a stop at the top of our street....you can pay on the bus, cash only or go to any CVS and get a pass....we went from Indian Rocks Beach to Clearwater and St Petersburg. ....an all day, on and off ride, for one price....can't pass that up... $2.50 pp per day, reduced rate... $ 5 pp per day, regular rate....you will probably pay more for parking. Buses run regularly and we only waited 6 minutes on Gulf Blvd for our bus to arrive. We had a great ride; great way to see the city and local attractions

Service and dependability really vary widely depending on the driver and route. Some drivers are friendly and good at their jobs and others, like one of the rt.59 drivers, seems to make up his own schedule and drive like he is drunk. 50% reliable service with wide extremes in quality. Supervisors don't seem to care and just blame it on the union and internal issues. Have taken to using Uber more than the bus now when I don't feel like driving.

I don't take public transportation. But one day we visited the Largo Central, a day when they had all of the public trucks on display. My daughter jumped into the public bus and wanted to know what it was all about. So the next weekend we took a public bus from a stop near our home all the way to the beach. The bus was on time. The driver was pleasant and patient. There was a conflict on the bus amongst passengers, that was quickly mellowed and resolved by other passengers and the driver. It was sad to see the conflict, but a certain relief came over us after it's quick resolution. Aside from that, it was a great experience for the entire family!

Recently visited Florida and used the PSTA buses to get around. It is a great transit system with professional and courteous drivers and high-tech equipment.
Every bus stop is equipped with a QR code so passengers can track the bus' GPS system and determine when it will get there. Excellent area route coverage and hours of operation.
