Ollie's Pond Park is a small and delightful park in the heart of Port Charlotte. It's a great place to get some exercie, walk the dog or watch the birds.

Just a short walk but over half of it is right by the lake where it is so peaceful to watch the many varieties of birds. Spoonbills, ospreys , anhingas & herons to name just a few.

If I could rate this above 5 stars I would! What a gorgeous walking trail around a peaceful pond. I took lots of great pictures of the pond and various birds. My sister is visiting from Ohio next week and loves to walk. We will be bringing her here for sure! A hidden treasure in Port Charlotte!

This was a really pleasant surprise - a short walk around a little pond, but the birds were amazing. We didn't see any gators, but a ton of heron and osprey. Really enjoyed it!

We walked around the pond today and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There were many birds to see - I believe I saw a stork which was exciting. The path is unpaved but well maintained. It is a mile around the pond with benches and beautiful scenery along the way. You also see some of the homes in the neighborhood. The parking lot was small - but we found a spot on a Saturday. Nice spot!

My husband and I have gone to this park several times to walk around the pond and take in the wild life. It’s very peaceful and relaxing. You can even bring your dog for some exercise.

Very nice, peaceful walk around large pond/small lake. Great mile long walking trail. Lots of birds to observe.

April 2020, so yes the water in the pond is very low. But, the birds are still here, so are our locals that come out for a nice walk in this nature setting.
It does not matter if you walk slow or run. Your fellow nature lovers will be friendly, greet you with a smile and possibly even have a small talk with you.

About a mile walk in a circle. Very quiet neighborhood. It is an Audubon society area around a man-made pond that is beautiful. Nice gravel walk around the pond. We saw alligators and many different birds. Glad we are close by so we can go again and again.

Part shade, part sunny path. Walk around the pond takes about 20 minutes at a leisurely pace. Lots of wildlife.
