Fun tour where we learned about the process of rum. We learned many things we had not learned before. The two brothers do a fantastic job of marketing, touring and serving their rum. We were happy to purchase some to bring home.

We thoroughly enjoyed this very informative tour and tasting. Guide/owner was very knowledgeable and friendly. Really fascinating to learn about the entire rum making process. Bought several bottles of delicious to bring home.

Great place for a drink. A little small for a group but the brothers Benjamin and Alex run a great place! The outside seating needs a little work but ok to hang out!

Amazing rum distillery. True craft in every sense of the word. Enjoy a well curated tour a sampling or a beverage after. Favs were the dark rum and the spiced rum. Benjamin is a great host too. Very knowledgeable and has a passion for this spirit too.

Had a personal tour by Ben who knows his business inside and out. Learned a lot about distilleries. and how the rum is made. Got to sample the different rums and learned about all the different flavors and ingredients for each rum. Great experience. Don’t leave Punta Gorda until you check it out! Steve and Trisha

We had a great time at Alligator Bay. It was one of the places I wanted to visit while visiting family in the Punta Gorda area. The guys there are very knowledgeable and took time to answer any questions that we had. The tasting was great as well, it was nice to sample the different Rums before buying any. I would recommend making a trip to see them. I bought the Dark Rum and love the taste.

Great experience the owners explained the whole process, we also had some samples and brought the white rum home with us to make Pina coladas . Great tasting rum. Thank you Benjamin for taking the time to show us around.

Had a great visit to Alligator Bay. Ben gave a knowledgeable and interesting tour of the facility, and we enjoyed a free tasting of four of their award-winning rums. We purchased two of our favorites, the dark (infused with chocolate…yum!!) and the spiced, which is made with an interesting and flavorful combination of spices, including ginger and cardamom, and is unlike any other spiced rum any of us had ever tried. We look forward to our next visit!

A gem hidden not to be missed! Truly HANDMADE (no knock intended on Bert “Tito” Beveridge and his handmade potent potable) and custom blended, spiced and flavored! Absolutely worth a visit! Benjamin was a fantastic ambassador/owner and a wealth of knowledge and fun.

Yes the tours are free of charge. We offer 5 tours daily starting at 11am with the last tour ending at 3pm. Each tour starts at the top of the hour.
You can book a reservation online at our website or by phone: (941) 347-8419.
750 ml rum blends distilled and bottled at the distillery are available in the tasting room. Current price range is $21-$26
