This is a beautiful and very Peaceful place to go and visit or take a walk. People also paint rocks and hide them here so the kids can find some and rehide them.

While the grounds of the park is beautiful, with plenty of picnic tables.. place to sit maybe read and relax, the 21/2 mile walk was uneventful with nothing to see except a path that cut thru the 2 acres.. all I had seen was two doves, the little bridges are uncared for, everything looks like a lot you would buy to place a house on... that being said, I went off the beaten path and was amazed to mind a boggy area with a large water way from the canal which is where I found the birds at play... took some Awesome shots, and it made my day

Definitely worth the visit. Easy walking trails. I would suggest early morning and bring the bug spray

Nice 1/2 mile walking trail with lots of shade. Wonderful signs describing wildlife and plants. Nice area to picnic.

There’s not anything to see in this park. It’s simply Florida scrub bushes and palm trees. We were disappointed.

We came upon this park by chance and got out to walk and see the beauty in its gardens. Topiary fish or dolphin - I do not know but nicely done. Other topiary as well.
Lots of planting and flowers. This garden area is well maintained. Walking or bike paths lead thru the woods and even to the marina. A nice place for some peaceful moments.

My wife and I rode our bikes through the park and then sat on a bench at the beginning of the trails by a small pond. The front of the park is landscaped with beautiful plants, the trails traverse through different habitats. There is a fishing pier and a couple of raised walkways to allow wildlife viewing. We were there in the middle of the day so there was little wildlife to view. This is not a large park and is surrounded by residential communities. We enjoyed the park. This is a dog friendly park.

I go here frequently and although it is hit or miss regarding wildlife, it still is a great walk in the woods.

Well maintained park and nature trail, featuring a small fishing dock on the east end and lovely plantings (many with identification tags).
Better to avoid in the heat of the day during hot season.
Two free parking areas, one at southeastern corner of Aqui Esta and Bal Harbor, the other is a bit farther down Aqui Esta, just east of Fire Station III. We found a water spigot to cool off our dog (grateful for that!)
Reading these reviews, it is possible that some people might be confusing this nature park/trail with Ponce Park (which features the Peace River sanctuary and their rescued birds). While you will see interesting birds at certain times of the day/year here while strolling on the trail, don't confuse the two.

We stopped by to stretch our legs. The walking trail is very easy to walk, no hills and wide paths. There are little postings along the way about birds and wild life.
