Joey - excellent tour guide and the segways were FUN!

This was our second segway tour and we were lucky enough to get Joey again as our tour guide. Not only is Joey passionate about the education piece of the tour, he has a great sense of humor, patience in teaching beginners how to navigate the segway, and he is a top-notch professional. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Joey, seeing the beautiful sights, some neat wildlife and hearing about the history of Sanibel. I would highly recommend doing this tour - although rumor has it that segway tours will be discontinued (we are SO sad about this).

Our guide Joey did a great job and we learned a lot about the island. I just wish we had at least views of the beach instead of the start of the boardwalk. I was also expecting to be able to again at least view the light house which is iconic to the island.

Thank you for your review, always good to read that our guides do a great job. Sorry that Segways and Sand don't mix, we hope you had time to go to the Beach and visit the Sanibel Lighthouse during your time on the Island.

One of the MUST DO's on Sanibel Island

My friend and I love the Segway tours and have been on several. Joey provided a lot of island history which was very interesting. I would recommend the Segway tour for anyone but especially those that have never done a Segway tour before. You will definitely not be disappointed!

So Much Fun!

We did the Segway tour yesterday. Our leader was Joey and he was very knowledgeable about the island's history, trees, and plants. We were having so much fun, we didn't want the tour to end. We will definitley do this again!

FIRST CLASS BIKE RENTAL

READ THIS>>>

I don't write to many reviews because I don't see businesses go out of their way to help their customers once the bill is paid... BUT... I couldnt help but write something about Billy's Bike Rentals. These guys were amazing. I called, not thinking they were open, with this whole COVID19 pandemic, and they answered. Patty answered and I placed an oder for 4 bikes. She told me when the bikes would be delivered (within 2 hours). I asked if I wasn't able to be at the condo when they were delivered, and there was a problem what should I do. She said all calls (after hours) would be routed to the owners cell phone - WOW... I don't see that very often. Well, the bikes were delivered, on time and left right outside my door. Helpmet, locks and everything included. Oh, by the way, they delivered all the way down to Captiva Island - for a $20 charge - not bad for delivery and pick up!!! HERE IS THE BEST PART... That night, when we went for our first ride, my youngest had a difficult time riding the bike that was delivered for her (the bike was a little to big). I called the next morning and Billy brought another bike all the way down to me - free of charge. He called me before he got there to make sure I was there and asked if my daughter was there (to make sure everything was right). He then told me where the best places to shop (actually for my wife, not me). Where to get the best bread/fish and even said we could follow up down into Sanibel Island so we wouldnt get lost.
I am tell you, this place REALLY CARES about people. Billy is a good man and runs a honest business.
And finally, I have been in the market for bikes for my wife and I and mentioned to him that I would like to come by his place and possible buy a couple bikes from him since his service was so great. He told me, that he would appreciate my business but, I would be better off buying somewhere near me because if I had a problem with anything, it would be better to buy local and not 200 miles away from home.
now, that is an honest man!!!

If you want a place to rent bikes from Sanibel or Captiva that has exceptional customer service, make sure you rent from Billy's bikes rental

Loved doing the Segway tour on Sanibel! Our guide Joey was informative, enthusiastic and fun! The Segway was easy to ride, they gave us a nice how to and practice in the practice in the parking lot. After little practice, we were off on the tour. We felt very safe and comfortable with Joey as the leader. Highly recommend!!!

It was our first time on a seway tour. We had a great time with Joey. He is very knowledgeable about the area and was a great guide! Will defintely do this again!

Great experience. Tour guide Joey was outstanding, holding riders safety as top priority. He brought us all around, stopped at key locations to divulge the history/significance of that spot. Segways were great. I highly recommend it!
