I've been to many Open Studios and the quality of the art here is top-notch. Nearly all the artists were in attendance, and although there are not that many of them, each one's work is of high quality. If we lived here we would likely have bought several pieces at some point. We talked to several of the artists and enjoyed that very much. There was also a small cafe that was open on the premises and we would have gotten a drink or dinner there if we didn't have other plans.

We visited during their 3rd Friday Art Walk. We found free parking on the street. We were probably only there for about 20 minutes. There were about 15 - 20 artists displaying their artwork. There was also a gentleman playing the guitar and singing. It is a nice setting with a variety of trees. I had hoped it would be a little bigger.

Thank you! We are so glad you attended and hope to see you again. Due to COVID 19 we had to scale back just a bit on our usual methods of presenting the art and artists. We hope to make it a more celebratory event with future art walks, as in the past seasons.

Stroll through a dimley lit courtyard listening to wonderful acoustical music. Sipping wine, looking at Art. This was our first visit. They have this Artist stroll the 3rd Friday each month. Meet the artist & talk. It was my first visit, and I will go again!

I love the Towles court area and whilst I no longer base myself in Sarasota I always make sure I take a trip and see what's going on. Vibrant and arty there's always something going on from the artists walk on the 3rd Friday of the month to the boutiques and cafe's its always worth a visit in and around Towles Court. This year I visited the Chalk Festival and although I arrived on the first day whilst the artists were creating their lovely art pieces, it was fun to see, though the 2nd day prob would have been better.

Towles Court Artist Colony is a special place to visit year round featuring an array of handmade one of a kind art treasures by local reknown artists from textile designs to watercolor and oils. Every third Friday from October till May the Towles Court Artist Colony welcomes the public to their Walk from 5-9 pm with music in the courtyard. There are restaurants and free parking, too.

We have enjoyed this area a few times and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. If you can visit during their open studios events that would even be more enjoyable. There are a few restaurants to enjoy while there and our favorite is The Bodhi Tree Cafe
