I thoroughly enjoyed my ride with Mary. I rode Annebelle, good mover. It tickled me that one of the pigs, Pork Chop came along ! Low key, friendly place. Lots of birds, baby alligators, piggys.

I may have given this more stars if the location was a cleaned up a bit. She doesn't seem to have much help. Stalls are clean but bare if any type of shavings. Not sure if that's something you just don't do in Florida. Don't expect a clean nice picturesque barn. the horses were gentle and docile and easy to ride. The one giving the tour was very kind. The woman who owns the place is also very kind. The horses are all in various conditions and age. Ride was ok... Not much to see as we just circled the property and it's small creek bank. But my peeps who had never riden enjoyed it. If your ride you will not be that enthusiastic.

Amazing experience! Highly recommend! First time horseback riding and I certainly picked the perfect place to do it. Mary and Joseph were great guides the whole way. The trail was beautiful. Can’t wait to return and do it all over again.

I stopped on my way through town for a quick horseback ride. It's beautiful beneath the oak trees. The ladies I rode with were lovely. I was alone with the two guides and it really felt like I was out on a ride with friends. I will definitely return again.

This place is a run-down, over-grown, swampy, garbage-dump!
NOT at all like the pictures! Need a 4 wheel drive vehicle just to get in the road/driveway to the place.
YES they were hard hit by Hurricane Irma in September 2017---7 months ago---BUT that's a poor excuse.
Most of the horses also appeared to be aged and NOT properly cared for. They were in makeshift pens with "anything goes" fencing and no shelter or pasture grass.
NOT at all like the pictures! Need a 4 wheel drive vehicle just to get in the road/driveway to the place.

Looking for a relaxing ride at a farm tucked back on the border of a golf course and a state park. Sandy, the owner is a joy to talk to. Baby ducks, chickens, puppies and pigs have you want to start a farm of your own. An hour ride and 3 miles covered make the fee worth every penny. If we are in the area again, we will plan to visit Sandy at Lakeside farms again.

Sandy runs a nice business and makes you feel at ease. The horses are well trained and saved from bad circumstances. Wendy was a great guide!

The kids loved it.. it was flooded and that made it even more fun for them . Since they had to come out and pick them up in a truck and they all rode in the back of the truck except my 6 yr old he s not happy he had to go in the front...

We rented kayaks and took a nice trip on the lake. It was beautiful, and we saw a couple gators and a lot of birds! It was very peaceful. At the stables they have a lot of horses, goats, ponies, llamas, dogs, cats & even a monkey! The owner was super friendly and the guy who works with her.

This was a fun event and we would do it again. My husband isn't a rider but did this to support his wife! The trail horses seem to be taken care of. The stables are a little run down but the animals had food and water. The guide was sweet and didn't over work the horses. The stable manager took into account our riding history and our weight. I basically wanted to ride just to see the backwoods of Florida. It was a nice ride on the sand and into the thick wooded areas. We did see a gopher tortoise and lots of birds! We also saw resurrection fern and now, I look forward to going back after a rain! The horses were easy to ride and the scenery was beautiful.
