love going there in the early morning for our 2 mile walk. So green and I feel safe there. the greenery and the sun coming through the shade . The benches along the way to sit by the water is also relaxing. Have made many friends there also

Stopped in here after a lunch in seminole. The boat ramp was very active and there were a few parties happening which was good to see as there are a lot of picnic areas and a playground. We walked over to a wooden deck overlooking a smaller pond hoping to see a gator but all we saw were a few birdies.
The road coming in looks more like old school mid-Florida forests with the trees draped in Spanish moss a pretty cool sight to see.
Free entry - ample parking.

Yep! Fantastic! The walks, the wildlife, the facilities are all perfect! We go here all the time for picnics with groups. The tables are shaded and well maintained. It's super fun to ride bikes on the trails and you can launch your boat to!

You can walk the trails ( 1 a mile ling and 1 two miles long), watch the wild life, or just relax There are picnic table and grills available along with pavilions .

we love to walk here after dinner time, stay away from the water, saw some big gators. love the lakeside swings

I recommend downloading the map from the website, because the roads you can drive on loop around the bodies of water and it can get confusing. It took me a bit to find the walking trail, but once I did it's very well marked and maintained. Watch for wildlife. There are many facilities for picnicking and boating.

My wife and I visit a nearby Retirement community every week. We have taken my father-in-law to the park to eat lunch. He loved the experience. The county has worked hard to make this place a warm and inviting family park.

The park is secluded, has facilities, you can fish, hike. There is wildlife, rabbits, squirrels and lots of birds.

My house mate and I took out lunch there to sit a pick-nick table by the water. It is so beautiful and relaxing. Easy to navigate. Perfect for just one person or a large group.

This is a great place to take the whole family. The park is very well maintained and it is a nice place to take a walk.

Hi, not that I know of. Most people who fish here do not eat the fish as it has poor water quality - although Seminole has been trying to improve on that.You are really close to the beach so I'd suggest trying your hand at salt water fishing. But if you are determined to fresh water fish Lake Tarpon (farther north in Pinellas County) has a good bass reputation.

There are no fishing guides at the park. It is just a nice place to fish on your own. But there are a lot of people fishing so they may be able to guide you to the best location in the park to catch some fish.
How is the kayaking at Lake Seminole Park?
Is it a no wake lake?
Are there a lot of motorized boaters in the area?

There are a few boats and jet skis but not many. Plenty of room to Kayak peacefully.

As a teenager I used to water ski in the lake. There are gators in the lake but they are frightened of humans.

I am sorry, but there is no RV parking at Lake Seminole. It is mainly a "day" destination, but, it is well worth the time to go. Beautiful, natural, Florida scenery.
There are many RV parks in Pinellas County that will accommodate you. One in particular comes to mind and that is the RV park at "Ft. Desoto". Although it is not that close to Seminole park, the beaches there have been ranked in the top 10 several times in the past. A great park to stay at.

I don't think there is any over night camping here. It is a day use park.
