Travelled from the UK to watch my Bucs play...Atmosphere was great, food options were vast and Drinks were easy to get a hold of, I already want to come back! The only issue on a whole was nothing to do with Raymond James or Bucs and that was the local traffic system which was like driving through Central London at rush hour with a predicted hour journey taking two and a half/three. Plan well in advance if it's your first time!

This is a great stadium/ Lots of CLEAN BATHROOMS- which if you ever visit stadiums- that is important. Plenty of food, drink and team items to purchase. You need to have transportation to get back and forth which makes it tough in and out. This stadium has a NO BAG POLICY so your 12x12x4 official NFL bag will be refused. All events at this venue have this policy. Only a 4.5x6 inch clutch are acceptable.. be aware!!

I love to attend Bucs games here. Fun activities around the stadium on game day. Biggest downfalls are the no bag policy, even the clear ones you get from the team store. And concessions are pretty high.

Stadium was packed for the Rams game.
National anthem was very patriotic with an awesome flyover.
Food and Beer is highly overpriced and they only do credit cards...sorry Dave Ramsey.
Lines are very long for everything.
People would rather wait on line to purchase expensive stuff than to sit in their expensive seats.
Lots of people just walking around. Doesn't anybody go to the game to actually watch the game?
Witnessed a great come from behind win - in the final minute of the game by the GOAT, Tom Brady.

We did a tour of the Raymond James Stadium with our Grandson who is a huge Bucs fan. It was really great. The cost was extremely reasonable, and the tour was very interesting. We got to see the behind the scenes view of the Stadium, the visitors locker-room and the corporate suites. Our Grandson got to run out of the tunnel and sit on the bench on the field. He was thrilled. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and so great with our Grandson. I would recommend this tour.

We recently purchased season tickets for the Tampa Bay Bucs and I can't say it is the best experience after attending several games in Tampa. Here are the overall points and they are NOT very good:
1) As others have said, the traffic management is horrible. No police or traffic officers were directing traffic into the stadium. This meant that once we got off the congested highway, it took 90 minutes to drive 1.4 miles (not kidding). We missed the first quarter and thankfully got there before halftime. But it was extremely stressful and unnecessary.
2) Very long walk once we got inside. What I mean by this is that when we entered the stadium, we had to immediately go up to the top level to the 300 level (nose bleed area!). Not a problem in past games, but this night when we reached the very top and began walking to get to our section, we quickly realized that the stadium is split in half (north and south) and on the upper levels, they are NOT connected.
3)... so we had to walk all the way down to the first level (no escalators going down). This meant that we walked down about 10 levels (not kidding) with 3 bottles of waters, 1 (open) beer and food. The food got cold and since we were hustling to get to our seats asap, most of our drinks were spilled since they take the caps off of the bottles and only allowed open containers (which is normal but unfortunate in this situation)
Then when we got to the first level, had to walk around to the other side, had to take the escalators back up to the 300 level and then find our section.
4) To get to our section, we climbed an initial 15+ stairs and then another nearly 70 (yes, seventy, this is not a misprint) to our seats. I'm not complaining, but was physically exhausting and people with mobility problems, respiratory problems, problems with "heights" will not be able to cope with this.
5) Security / ushers are NON EXISTENT anywhere and everywhere (not just in the nose bleeds)! So when we got to our seats, there were people sitting in them and we KINDLY told them that they were sitting in our seats. They wouldn't move. The others in my party stepped aside and I had to go up to the main person in this group, and firmly tell that that these are OUR SEATS. The person was drinking and smoking weed (adding to the lovely skunk smell of the area), but they finally moved after realizing they were in the next section. However, after moving, they only sat behind us and the same thing happened again with another family about 20 minutes later, with that family asking these same group to move. That's why is is important to have security, ushers, police, ANYONE to be able to intervene. However, even when you walk down below to the food area/bathrooms, there are STILL NO SECURITY IN SIGHT! We saw a couple of arguments occur, and we moved past them.
6) Bathrooms - others have posted about the problems with the bad smells, poop on the floor, etc. We didn't experience any of that, but we DID not understand WHY there is not an entrance and a separate exit. This meant that while 100+ people (men's room) were going in (waiting in line), the same people going in had to go out the same entrance. People were pushing and making comments under their breath about people not moving and why this was designed so foolishly.
7) The speakers/loudspeakers were terrible. Whenever the announcer would come on or the officials announced a penalty, the quality of the sound and the speakers were all broken up. Not a big deal in the scheme of things, but it did not help.
8) If you have tickets to a 1 PM game and your are on the visitor's side (sunny side) you will ROAST... the sun will beat down on you for the entire game unless there are clouds. We went to the Packers vs. Bucs game in late September (2022) and the field temperature was 105 degrees. I can tell you that it was at LEAST that hot in the stands, if not hotter. For this game, we dealt with the heat for the first quarter, with each of us drinking 2 full liters of water, but it still was not enough. We could not stop sweating. Then during the second quarter, we stopped sweating, which means that your body stopped cooling us off. We went downstairs for relief, where we saw several people on the ground, propped up against the wall, grabbing onto railing for stability (possibly heat stroke)... it was seriously bad. We got two more waters and sat in the stairway out of the son, along with many other people. Again, no security, no ushers, no police.... no one anywhere to be find. A few minutes later, we decided to leave during the second quarter, even though the tickets were expensive and we would be missing the game. But we didn't want to end up in the hospital just because we wanted to see the game.
When we exited, we noticed many other people leaving as well (again, think about how the game was only in the second quarter). I said to the woman at the gate, "I don't know how you can deal with this heat!" She replied, where you all from? I told her SW Florida and she scoffed, basically saying that this heat is nothing (basically making fun of us). I really don't care, but the fact that they don't address this issue IS a real issue. Not sure what you can do, but maybe offer areas of refuge or free water or something else to cool people off. BTW, the people in my party were healthy and two were 16 and 18 and live in the heat!
9) One good thing was the tv monitors... the quality was EXCELLENT! The graphics were awesome and well done... the pulse of the stadium is VERY GOOD, but everything else made it difficult to enjoy a really expensive day.
10) Another bright spot was the exiting the stadium parking lot... only a 20 + minute wait to get out.
11) Another post talked about how expensive the food and drinks were... the food is about the same, but things like bottles of water were actually a bit more affordable! Can you believe it!
To sum it all up, try to only go to night games... even the 4:30 PM games were hot! And to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization: Please take note of these issues, as they are hurting your population and your fans... I know you can't do much about the bathroom design as an example, but you can improve traffic control, security/usher/representative attention to fans and better signage.

Uber was easy going to the stadium for a football game, that's the good part! leaving was a nightmare due to the volume of traffic, the price had almost tripled, and the wait was well in excess of an hour!

Hello there. Going to Tampa to see Kenny Chesney, have always seen him Philly. Does anyone know the best place to park and tailgate and does he come to the tailgating areas at Raymond James before the show to see the fans?Deeply appreciate it!!!

There is really not a close hotel within walking distance. Unless you like to walk for twenty minutes. There several hotels near the stadium in a nice area with restaurants and close to international mall. My suggestion is to Uber, Lyft and the cost is minimal.
Can you tailgate at the superbowl?
The next superbowl is in Tampa. I want to tailgate
