When our flight from Tampa to STL was cancelled due to weather, we had to stay in Tampa one more night. Our shuttle bus driver recommended WOB. Our server was Josh and the manager was Rob. They were both great. Very personable and took great care of us. When we razzed manger Rob about our app taking a bit long, he took the cost off our ticket which we did not expect as we were just kidding him. The flatbread chicken BBQ was amazing and the salted caramel cookie dessert skillet was one of the best desserts I've ever had. Really enjoyed our trip there!

Stopped in for dinner after arriving in town. Very cool, trendy vibe. Enjoyed our tacos immensely. Our bartender was friendly and helpful. Would return for sure. Drove by the following night (a Friday) and the place was hopping!

Good Beer, great tacos and flatbread. Get the barbacoa tacos. Yum! Loud atmosphere inside around the bar which is expected, Fun atmosphere at outside tables, lots of TV’s for sports fans.

This is a chain that we’ve been wanting to try and were pleasantly surprised. I had a great veal snitzel. My spouse had a very wonderful cob salad - visually and taste wise. Our server Tyler was excellent. We will return if we are in the area.

After a couple trips into the Tampa area we finally made it to WOB. Their location was a bit confusing to find but it was worth it. Very good beer selection, terrific service and very friendly people to chat with as we enjoyed many beer selections. We will be back. While no food in the bar we did enjoy a bite to eat from the food truck, also very good and reasonably priced. Two thumbs up all around.

Stayed next door so this was an easy option. Hopping place with indoor and outdoor seating on two levels. Various options apps, salads, burgers and more. I had a salad and a cup of chili with a beer of course! My first choice of beer had just run out but the back up was good. Salad and chili were both very good. Free parking and good for a bite before a flight.

Visited with a business associate. Service was fantastic, food was good bar fare. The selection of beers is fantastic. Great place to hang out with the guys.

We’ve been to The World of Beer in Tampa, the place is somewhat well located and has a good vibe. The two bartenders attended to our needs really well and never let out cups run dry. We had burgers, fries and wings and everything was really tasteful.

I went to WOB in Plantation last night only for the manager to tell the server not to serve me as she thought I came in intoxicated. My boyfriend became livid as I was being discriminated against. I have retinitis pigmentosa which affects my vision. I barely have any night vision and my peripheral is slowly deteriorating. The disease eventually causes blindness. I can provide my medical records if needbe. When we were coming in, a table or chair was blocking the sidewalk or entrance so of course I bumped into it, not seeing it. My boyfriend has to guide me at night which I do not even drive at night due to my condition. Anyways, he guides me, even though I still bumped into the table but once we got inside and I sat down I was good as I didn’t need to be roaming around and I was able to see the tables inside for the most part and people. The Server took forever getting my boyfriend’s beer and then when she asked me and I told her I would have the same thing, she said her manager said not to serve me. So we asked to speak to the manager. My boyfriend just got out of class and wanted to do karaoke and I had worked all day so none of us were drinking or anything else. I was not stumbling around, I wasn’t speaking in slurs, my eyes were wide open and not looking as if I was intoxicated. Even at the table I just sat and was waiting for my friend and just looking at the menu. People around us were dancing and acting all giddy and foolish as they were happy and drinking and yet they kept getting served but because I bumped into a table that was blocking the sidewalk I got chastised. The manager did not even come right away and when she did, my boyfriend was already angry due to the wait and how I was being treated that he did raise his voice to her. Luckily he did not curse her out but he did raise his voice telling her about my disability. I tried to calm him down and she was then trying to talk to me but she was not giving a straight reason, just that if I have some disability she is sorry and has the right to not serve people just by looking how they come in yet she was in front of me and I did not appear to look intoxicated to her. I did not even smell like alcohol. We just wanted to have a drink and relax. She eventually told us to leave because my boyfriend was still arguing with her about me. If I had a seeing eye dog would I still get labeled as “intoxicated” if I bump into something and need to be guided? I was going to get the white cane but my boyfriend said I have him and he can guide me. Even if I am out with girls, they hold my hand and just guide me in dark and dim settings. I need to feel normal and need to go out like everyone else and not stay trapped inside just because my vision is impaired. I am already depressed about my disorder. My brother has it as well and is already blind in one eye. What happened last night just made me more depressed, reminding me how I am not normal like everyone else who can see in the dark. It really makes me question my existence sometimes but I am trying to live to the fullest. We were planning to come on Saturday with a bunch of friends but now not anymore and that day is when you will see all your drunks out but I just wanted tacos and to watch the Kentucky Derby. Sorry will not even help in this case as it will not mean anything and is after the fact. Maybe people need to be spoken to first to feel them out before assuming someone is intoxicated and refusing to serve them because they needed to be guided in the dim lights and bumped into a table. I am clumsy on top of it so even if I could see better, I could have still bumped into something, especially if it was blocking the path but to send your servers to relay the message that I seem intoxicated and you couldn’t speak to me first like just a hello and welcome to feel out if your customer really does seem drunk or maybe they do have a disability or a clumsy moment. So thanks for reminding me that I should not go out at night to have some fun before I can’t anymore and for treating me unfairly without getting the full picture.
