A great place to hang out, it sometimes is hard to find a parking spot, but the facilities are adequate and always clean. It's nice because they have body and foot showers!

This place is a great quiet beach that usually has parking, The facilities are always clean, and the outside shower are good to get the sand off your feet before getting into the car, it's esy to find and worth the drive!

This is my family's second time in Vero Beach, and this is a tradition. We love going here and having fun in the waves. There is one slight problem though. The parking. Every time we go there, the parking is a problem. We almost never get a spot and when we do, it is always super hard to get a nice spot. One way I would suggest to get past this annoying issue is to get there early in the morning or in the evening. Other than that, the beach is very fun, the waves are a nice size, and boogie boarding is cool! I would definitely recommend this place for new and old comers to this nice sleepy hollow!

Drove half hour to this beach from Vero based on review. Yes very small parking lot but got a spot. Nice enough beach but quite small. Was so windy had to leave. If you are close by this is fine. Don’t go our of your way.

Quiet beach, limited parking, lifeguards, clean bathrooms…a great place to enjoy a semi-private beach day. No crowds here and no fishing. You can catch a great wave so bring your long board!

We stopped by to spend some time at the ocean. The tide was so high that we couldn't get down the stairs without getting soaked from knees down! Also, there were signs warning of rip tides. We made ourselves comfortable on the stairs and just enjoyed watching the huge waves.

Beautiful and quiet place to visit the beach. Fair amount of sand, semi-private (*this could change when the season changes but hasn't ever been very crowded when I have gone, which is always when the sun is on it's way down from tippy top so we don't burn), and great waves. Clean, nice group of people every time I go there. I just moved to the area and have been almost 10 times in all with my 2 young kids who love playing in the surf. Plenty of people come to watch the waves or read, small groups of nice kids, older people and those exercising...nice eclectic mix. I've gotten some amazing photos of the sunset each time we've been there that are out of this world (see attachments). No dogs and no smoking which is nice! Amazing wheelchair accessibility from parking in the lot directly above the beach, to the nice long ramp which isn't too steep, all the way down in a z formation onto the sand. Outside shower station & semi-clean public restrooms (separate male & female). Nice pavilion area to picnic or throw a bday party. And most definitely OPEN! Lifeguard on duty every day until somewhere between 4 & 5. Lots of surfing going on as well which is fun to watch. Overall wonderful place to go. Small surf shop and pizza place in the front of main parking lot add a nice touch if you get hungry or need a supply you forgot to bring with you on your trip. Area is also regularly patrolled by the Sheriff's department which is nice and makes this single momma feel very safe. Enjoy!

One of the first places we stopped. The surf was quiet when we were there with only a few beach goers. A couple of jet skis were plying the water and there wasn't much swimming. We were impressed by the tranquility of the area. Later we were told this is a good place for surfing in the winter when the waves come in., There was lots of parking and a great experience for us.
Appears to be a great spot to watch the sunrise.
