This is very nice for what it is: a free community garden. It is worth stopping at if you are in the area and also a nice place to take guests. Depending on what time of year you go will affect what you see there, but there is always something blooming. It's always nicely maintained and new plants and areas are still being added. We have taken numerous guests from out of town here and they have always commented on how wonderful it is. They even have a children's garden, which my children love. It's not large enough to be a place for hiking, but it is the perfect spot for a relaxing stroll through a lovely garden. We also appreciate they took the time to label many of the plants.

Tried to have a peaceful picnic lunch there, but were driven out by a worker wielding a weedwacker. Not a very pleasant experience.

That was our mistake to assume that the garden had a “hike”. There is maybe(!!!) a mile long loop around the gardens but was too wet to get around. Website says you can walk around Mirror Lake but was really more of a pond. So it you want HIKE this is not the place. More of a strolling place but they did allow dogs and our dogs enjoyed. Gardens not much to see in December but will try to come back in the spring. It is a work in progress so may take years to be much of an attraction .
