We did the wine tasting and tour and the experience was great and the wine was good, but what really made our visit amazing was our tour guide/ sommelier Avianna. She was absolutely fantastic. Her personality and ambiance made the entire tour unforgettable. She knew exactly what she was talking about and made the tour very interactive. Her passion for wine was very evident. She is the definition of a people-person. I smiled and laughed from start to finish. She deserves a raise!! 10/10 mainly because of Avianna! Ask for her if she’s available, you won’t be disappointed.

It was recommended we try this winery. So glad we did! The grounds are beautiful and the wines were excellent. We had a charcuterie board with our wine, which was also very good. We are planning on stopping again when we are in Georgia in spring.

Our Tasting was scheduled @ 4:00. We loved the way they do the tasting. We have never been to a tasting that you pick your first pour and you find a table and sit and enjoy. Then return for the next one and so on and so on. Saying that to say that we slowly enjoyed our tastings and charcuterie board. We had 2 pours left and the server let us know we had about 30 minutes left to finish our tasting that they stop at 6. So we did get our last of 7 pours before 6. We sat and enjoyed. Then, at 6:05 when we are selecting the wines we would like to purchase with bottles in had already, a female manager rudely announced to us we cannot purchase. Clearly we were as stunned as the others around us selecting. That would have been pertinent information for guests to have known before just shutting down completely. I did not purchase wines from Chateau Elan after being so rudely told it was shut down completely no more purchases could be made. A little nicer response that she was sorry that it was not made clear to us upon arrival, would have been the professional thing to do. Especially at such a classy venue where you expect a certain level of treatment. Chateau Elan may be missing some customer service skills in the winery. It was not as accommodating and service oriented as the Spa and the Inn.
We loved the atmosphere and had a couple of servers who did excellent descriptions of the wines we chose. I hate I did not get their names to give them credit. But we also had a couple who told us nothing, just poured with no description. Part of the tasting is to learn about the wines. So parts of this experience were very enjoyable and other parts very disappointing.
A place this nice should allow you to buy wines after the tasting. Even if the tasting ends at 6:00 on Sunday. It should have been expressed or announced that also at that time you cannot purchase either. There were several others still going to purchase as we had bottles in our hand to buy, therefore it was not just our own misunderstanding this is not clearly communicated.

We did the wine tasting tour. It was worth the money. Beautiful place, wonderful wine. We enjoyed the visit.

I decided to go to Chateau Elan Winery for my birthday. It was a Monday evening & it was AMAZING!! If you are looking for a quiet vibe where you're able to have space & peace go on a weekday. The staff was so friendly & knowledgable - especially Julia & Que. My sister & I spoke to Marias on our way out & he too was friendly & inviting. I will absolutely be back! 10/10!!!

My GF and I recently visited the hotel and winery. We decided to attend the mixology class to kill sometime before our dinner at Marc’s. She’s very knowledgeable about her craft and answered all our questions. Would highly recommend it to everyone. Chasity also got to know us to pick out what drink best suited us. Amazing experience for sure.

This place is incredible. Not only are the grounds beautiful, the food delicious, spa wonderful, and accommodations world-class, but the service and staff are TOP NOTCH.
Harmony at the front desk was the BEST. So kind, funny, and personable. Gave us everything we needed to know upon check-in. Truelove at the restaurant was fantastic, and Alan at the concierge center ensured that we never had to wait for a thing! Matias and Ariel at the winery ensured that our wine bungalow birthday experience was worth the flight in. Excellent service and the best birthday ever.
Hats off to this entire establishment. I’m coming back!!

Our experience at the Viking Cooking school was our favorite part of our trip. Chef Chad and Amy made our night! It was THE BEST MEAL we have had in a very long time! And we are planning to prepare our same menu for our children this weekend. They made it easy and so much fun. We had jerk shrimp with mango salsa with trout lettuce wraps as our appetizer. I cannot get over how much my husband and I enjoyed this experience. It was our 25th wedding anniversary - and this was delicious and fun and something we can take back with us! I would highly recommend this activity! Do it! You will NOT REGRET IT!!! Oh! And they pair wines with each course!

Ours was a quick mother/daughter trip to celebrate her graduation from medical school. Chateau Elan exceeded our expectations!! From our check-in with Alexandra until our departure we were treated like royalty. Every moment was perfection!
Food: We ate at Versailles the first evening and the Marc the second evening and both were absolutely delicious. Food was beautifully presented and service was prompt. Wait staff courteous and friendly. We also enjoyed a pool side lunch of flatbread pizza that was yummy! And we enjoyed Paddy’s Irish Pub and the spa cafe. It was nice to have such a variety of restaurants to dine.
Activities: The spa was extraordinary! We both had an 80 minute massage that was fabulous!
The facility is spotless and elegant with lovely views of the lake and beautifully landscaped grounds. We also took a mixology class and enjoyed the winery tour and tasting. Zach gave an excellent presentation and was very knowledgeable. We bought several bottles of wine and purchased wine glasses at the gift shop to remind us of our special trip.
I love that we could just park the car and never have to leave. We were only staying 3 days so it was nice not to worry about navigating city traffic. We could totally relax and enjoy all that the resort had to offer. It truly felt like we were transported to France. I can not say one negative thing about our visit and I look forward to returning in the future. I felt very safe and the staff went above and beyond to make sure every wish was fulfilled. I have traveled extensively and this was one of the most relaxing trips I’ve ever had. If you are looking for a luxurious resort to getaway and relax I give Chateau Elan top marks!!!

The tour is short if there are not too many visitors asking questions. I would call the winery and ask regarding times due to the upcoming holiday.
