Fun family experience

We had a awesome time with Captain Billy!! He was very knowledgeable about the wate, areas history, and the fish! My kids 7 and 3 had so much fun we will definitely be back for another adventure in the summer! Thanks Captain BB

Kids’ first fishing boat tour

We went on a fishing tour with Billy for spring break and loved it! He made it so fun for our 10 and 7 year old kids. And we caught several fish, sharks, stingrays and an eel! The kids asked to go again all week long 😊 We will definitely be back!

Exciting For Kids of All Ages!

Captain Billy took excellent care of us! The trip was perfect for our 4 small children’s first ever fishing experience. We brought a 6 year old, 4 year old, and two 3 year olds. Captain Billy was so great and patient with them and everyone caught something! The kids can’t stop talking about it. We will definitely be back again and again.

Fun fishing experience!

We had a wonderful fishing trip with Billy Bee! Great for kids and adults who love to fish! We caught about 20 keepers and 5-10 various fish in addition to that. The kids could have spent all day out there if given the chance. We can't recommend Captain Billy enough!

We had such a fabulous day with Captain Billy! The kids loved learning how to fish and were so excited to actually catch their own fish. Our daughter even caught a little shark!! Captain Billy teaches you everything you need to know to catch a fish all while making it fun for kids and adults. Our two little pups even joined us! Highly recommend checking out Billy Bee Charters while in St.Simon’s. It has been the highlight of our trip!

Wonderful family outing.

Captain Billy took my family and I out on an afternoon fishing trip in early April. My mother in law, wife, and 3 young children, aged 6, 3, and 1 all had a fantastic time. While there is a reason they call it "fishing" and not "catching", we actually caught a while mess of fish and saw lots of wildlife. Captain Billy was very knowledgeable and provided regional history and insights into the local marine and wildlife in addition to being a nice person all around. His boat was well maintained, and we felt safe and looked after during our trip. Would highly recommend! Will certainly reach out again when we are in the area!

The BEST family fishing experience

What a day! All our boys, 5 and 3, and our nephew, 12, wanted to do all week was to catch some fish and with Capt. Billy we did just that! We were luckily enough to schedule the trip same day, on a Sunday no less. Not only was Capt. Billy accommodating, but kept all of us engaged and entertained the entire trip. That’s saying something when you have a grumpy 3 year old on board. Everyone caught at least 2 fish and some of us even caught baby sharks (cue song for the 3 year old). He even told us where we could bring our catch to have it cooked up and taken out! If i could rate Capt. Billy higher than 5, I would. Terrific time, terrific experience and I can’t wait to go back to St. Simons and do it all again.

Thanks so much for this great review!! The boys did great!! They were focused on catching! 3 year olds are supposed to be grumpy,,,,it says so on the birth certificate!! Please come back in the summer and we will catch that BIG shark we talked about!!

Great experience

Captain Dr. Billy offered our four grandkids a fantastic day fishing. None had ever had this type of experience, yet he single handedly managed to engage each child and help them love the experience- after all, a great experience is not tied to how many fish they catch ( although we ended up with 16 fish!!!), but that they are all begging to repeat this day!!! I always thought fishing could be a lifelong hobby and Captain Billy ignited that spark within these kids that, I believe, will continue. Thank you for the opportunity to share this experience with our grandkids!

Another great family fishing trip with Captain Billy

Our 15th year in a row with Captain Billy and it is always a big part of our family spring break. Safety is never a concern and the fishing is in calm flats courtesy of Billy’s knowledge of the best places to fish.

We had an amazing time! Captain Billy engaged our boys with fishing lessons, history lessons and dad jokes! We loved it! We caught a bunch of fish and had a great time. 10 out of 10!!
