I think that is waterpark is great but the weight limit for the rides is a bit discouraging and frankly can ruin a trip. My boyfriend and I visited this water park after me going many times, and this was his first. We couldn't enjoy a majority of the rides due to the weight limit for individual rides and two person tubes. We planned the trip based on going here and will not be back to see the expansion knowing we won't be able to our money's worth that we spent on the tickets. Let me preference by saying the weight limit was off by 3-5 pounds and they still denied us riding.

Holy smokes, this place is BIG. It was, obviously, super crowded, but that's to be expected. I love that they have different areas for different age groups. Our kids were 6 when we went and there's a great pool area with slides that fit their comfort level. If you wanted to pump up the adrenaline though, they had that as well.

By far the best water park I’ve ever been to! In most waterparks, there are a few main slides along with some pools to go in. In this park, we never got bored. They had so many different types & varieties of slides that you could keep going for hours without thinking about taking a break.
There were a lot of waterslides, most of which needed tubes which they had. The slides were very nicely made so the physics of them allow you to get wet on the turns and have fun while staying safe. The only bad part about this entire park was the weight limits on the slides. They have maximum weight limits on all slides and minimums on the large “family” slides. This limited us from going together on one slide, but besides that, we were all in the limit on every other slide. My personal favorite waterslide was the Cliffhanger.
On top of all the slides, the waterpark had a lazy river. It was HUGE. It had so many different parts and went throughout the whole park, with multiple exits so you could get off anywhere. You could basically use it to get yourself around the park instead of walking. Many people who didn’t enjoy the slides as much spent the majority of their time relaxing in the lazy river.
Roaring Springs even had a dedicated kids' area for the young ones (mostly below 10). They had smaller slides and a large shallow pool for them to play in. However, many of them were still coming on the main slides with everyone else.
Overall, this was a great waterpark with many different things to do that everyone enjoyed. There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about the waterpark except the long lines to get onto the slides, especially during peak hours.

Visited with friends. Half of us went and did all the slides and such, while the other half spent the day in the lazy river. Clean and fun, no complaints here! Well maintained locker rooms as well.

Excited for the upcoming expansion. The population growth of the area has made this place tough to maneuver the last few years. But its always a good time. Nice wave pool and lazy river. Only have about 5 rides but will be much better after expansion.

My family and I go here almost every year, on family slide night. The prices are reduced a lot from the regular pricing, and if you bring a Coke can, you get $5 off on your ticket! I absolutely love this place! It has countless attractions, and it is so much fun!

My son loves this place, and would about live there if possible. The price is a bit high, but understandable. Gets crowded and becomes a nuisance at times with rude children. Still the excitement and thrills are "over the top" my son says!

MY son constantly begging to go there weekly ! Crowded by fun. Family enjoys the park. Little pricey, but worth the day of fun and sun. Been going for years.

We visited friends in Boise and both families had a blast at this wonderful park. Staff is great, park is clean and variety of food to choose from is excellent. Big park with rides for every level of excitement.
Ownership has done extensive work laying out social distancing measures for the public to follow. Please remember when you see a bad rating given to ANY business due to social distancing measures, it is up to the business to take the measures and then up to the public to FOLLOW the measures. This park is following the guidelines and any complaint you see I guarantee is a "public following the measures" issue. Grow up and be responsible adults for a change.

Today was horrible! Had to go to park for work with kids and there was no limiting the amount of guests in the park and no masks were being worn. There is not enough staff to enforce any COVID precautions and there were thousands of people at the park. All staff are young and unprofessional! No social distancing and the park was not clean. If I didn’t have to go for work I would have never gone in. Staff need to be better trained and friendlier, policies need to be enforced, and they need to limit the amount of people they let in. I am an avid water park and theme park goer and imagine Disney world on its busiest day and a pandemic going on that people do not care about. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a massive outbreak of covid due to their negligence. Be mindful people, and go and enjoy the MANY other water activities that Idaho has to offer!

Hi Nancy,
Meridian RV Park is right across the freeway from Roaring Springs, but of you're looking for a wilderness camping experience I would point you in the direction of either Garden Valley or Idaho City. There may be a KOA campground in Boise as well. Hope to see you this summer!
