Enjoyed a walk through this wonderful charm in Moscow, ID. The paths are gravel and well-groomed. The poppies were in bloom and stunning. Great place to see local birds and to get away from hustle of life!

Lovely garden interspersed with a number of genus tree and shrub varieties sprawling over 60+ acres. Walking loop traverses 1-1/2 mile across four geographical sections, we’ll-marked. We’ll worth a visit of 1~2 hours. One of the best parts of Moscow.

The University Arboretum is a nice quite place for a walk on campus. Plants and flowers are amazing. Lots of space to walk round and get lost in the beauty of the place. Spring and fall are the best time to visit with all of the colors. Will definitely be making a return trip.

A nice short stroll on a smoky day. I wish we'd found it earlier. I was amazed at the variety. What a neat place in the middle of the golden fields.

Peaceful walk on a Sunday afternoon in August. Many others there too. The variety of plants was astonishing and we found several to consider getting for our next garden.

University arboretum’s vary substantially in quality and scope. The University of Idaho arboretum is excellent. Stands of tamarack, elm, and ash are interspersed with indigenous bushes and grasses. There are two ponds with geese including several young at this time. A great place to walk and check out some of the local plants.

Lovely, quiet spot for strolling on afternoons or evenings or sitting & reflecting on the beauty of the area.
The U. of Idaho maintains the arboretum on campus in Moscow, Idaho & provides free information on plants, gardens & trees.
During the summer, residents carry blankets & chairs to a grassy “stage” to listen to free UI concerts. Golf carts provide rides in & out for those unable to walk the hills.
The .charming atmosphere allows escape from hustle & bustle. No concessions.
Admission & parking are free year round. All are welcome.

Very pretty, very peaceful. Great place for walking or jogging. The garden has many different plant species.

I loved all the amazing plants and the views of the Palouse. It's a must see in the summer time. I was there during late July and it was beautiful.

The walking trails are pleasing anytime of year. Of course once the snow falls they can be slick. There are many evergreen trees and plants and the ponds are lovely. If you venture to the higher portions, the views are impressive year round.

Yes, I know weddings are held there but I don't know about the barn. A good location is by one of the ponds.
You should contact the arboretum staf for event scheduling. Try to call 208-885-5978 & they will direct you to the person in charge of scheduling.
