A magnificent, fully paved rail-trail. It's not too hard, going east to Troy, and only a little more difficult going west to Moscow. There's porta potties along the route but the only water is in Troy. Also, the only source of any supplies is the Sunset Mart, also in Troy. There's nothing else along the whole trail

This is a very nice paved trail between Moscow and Troy. There are some rolling hills along the way, and one long one back up from Troy. It's very neat and tidy and in good condition. Three outhouses along the way and a restroom in Troy at the park. From downtown Moscow and back it's close to 27 miles round trip. Once we found the trail start downtown, the rest was a breeze. Highly recommend this ride, it's a great way to see the Palouse.

We rode from Moscow to Troy. It is a beautiful trail! The hills and farmland are so scenic. Hope to ride to Pullman tomorrow.

VERY well maintained trail. Any bumps are in areas with trees, and that happens anywhere. You can see where they periodically fix them. Every 5 miles there is a bathroom, one of which has a bike service station complete with tools and pump! Scenery is diverse and beautiful. Mild chills make it appropriate for all levels. Ignore the posts about maniacal riders and dog poop. I've ridden the trail dozens of times and like any trail there are occasional poops, but they are rare and the cyclists, runners, and walkers are almost always polite. I've ridden thousands of miles on multi purpose trails in all parts of the country and for an area as rural as this, it stands with the best of them.

Great trail from Moscow to Pullman. Paved and about 15 miles round trip. I rode a portion of the Latah Trail the same day. Another good trail. If you combine both, it is a good 35+ miles.

There are some areas that need repaving. Huge bumps that are big enough I slowdown when I have my son in his trailer behind my bike. My advice would be save money on clearing snow and instead repave problem areas. The views are nice.

The Latah Trail is great for many kinds of activities. I use it for cycling. The rountrip ride from Moscow to Troy is about 20+ miles with only one short uphill stretch each way. You move through open fields and forested areas alike. If you don't want to commit to the full RT, there are multiple places along the way where you can park and ride.

I both run and bike ride on this trail. It is particularly pretty when you get close to Troy. The scenery is farm fields and trees. Part of the trail is out of sight of the highway which is nice.

I bike this trail many times each year. My favorite part is near Troy, where one zooms through a cool pine forest. The grades on the trail are moderate. I wish all of it were more removed from the road, but it is generally a very nice rural experience. There are two short gravel road crossings, never had much problem with them, but take care. There are runners, walkers, bikers of all sorts on the trail, so be considerate, but it is not that heavily traveled to cause problems. There are pit toilets along the way, one bike maintenance station. The trail now goes a bit beyond Troy, but I usually turn around at the Troy city park. You can also extend the trail with some decent roads. Either go left at Troy and recommend Little Bear Lane on right to the end of its paved section...nice views towards Deary. Or go right and go up grade to first paved road to the right, nice rural road that takes you back to the highway. Ride the highway 500 yards to left, intersect with a short gravel road down, just before the bike path underpass to return to trail.
