The site is lovely and the grounds well kept - it was supposed to be open Friday Sept 4 but it was not. It even had the sign saying they would be open. These little museums are lovely and I understand that staffing, especially on a long weekend, is an issue. But what is the point of having this if tourists find it closed at the times when it was to be open?

Stopped by the Museum on the way through for work. It wasn't open as the hours are limited, but they do supply a number to make arrangements if you're so inclined.
There is a large tee pee by the rail station and, as a Canadian I'm sad to say I have never been inside of one...... Until today.
There isn't much to it, but it was very kewl to go inside. It was made of canvas but clasps were still craned from wood.
You can peek inside the train and see the set up of an old rail car which is always very exciting no matter where you are.
A quick stop. Not much to see but if you like old things it's worth a stop.

Could you send me a link for me to do a bit of research on the town of Turtleford, Sask? I have a friend that lived there, and I have been asked to see if I could find some Tourism Information about the Town. Maybe the Mayor's name, do you have an RCMP Detachment in your town, how many street lights, is there a particular industry that is more prevalent than any other, do you have a train stop in your town? Do you have any form of transportation that would allow your citizens to travel to a larger Metropolis? Any information you can get me, I'd greatly appreciate. Could you possibly text me (403) 891-7285 with any information.
