I spend much more time at the B6 club due to the flights I usually take. But when I am in C this is a pleasant place to spend my time. It is small, but I don't really see it being as busy as the B-18 club, which is sometimes too full to even enter. You're not getting a gourmet meal here but I've had some tasty soup and pasta and other items here. It's a nice place to sit back and relax before the flight.

In February, we were flying home to PHX from ORD, and as our departing United flight was scheduled to depart from C-30, we stopped into the United Club in T1, Concourse C, near Gate C-16/18, to kill a bit of time, and for some Champagne.

It had been awhile, since we last visited this United Club, and partially because it was doing double-duty, until the new Polaris Club could be opened. For a bit, it had just been too crowded, with the overflow of Polaris passengers, but now, it was not crowded in the least - almost serene, in fact.

We were cheerfully greeted by the hostesses at the Club, and welcomed back.

We found seating, just beyond the somewhat central bar area (smaller bar, than in most United Clubs in the USA), and had our Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut (served in 0.1875 splits), in hand. Service was very friendly.

While the table that we chose did not have any AC/USB ports, we found two very close by, to charge our devices.

We were able to relax, allow my wife to do business as she had been in meetings all of that morning, and recharge both the devices, and us.

The Club was very clean, and while we only got cheese and crackers from the limited buffet spread, just around the corner from the bar area, I noticed how well-presented things were. While in the Club, I noticed that items on that buffet were being replenished about every 15 minutes.

During our short stay (more about that in a moment), the Club was never crowded, with ample seating in most areas, and even at the bar.

Then, our United Apps got active - departure gate moved to C-21, so closer to us, but time was approaching, so we went to leave. Alarm 2 - gate changed again, and this time to C-31, so back near where we were originally scheduled to depart. We headed out to that gate, and watched the App. Alarm 3 - plane change, but still gate C-31, so slight delay in boarding. Oh well, we were headed down the concourse, so did not worry about missing out on the Club, and besides, we had finished our Champagne.

In all, a very nice experience, and the Club seemed brighter than before. Not sure if, when the Polaris Club opened near-by, United did any remodeling of this Club, but it was very nice, all the same.

Visited at noon on a weekday. Club was busy with only a very few open spots.

There is a small bar with bar service.

Food has been upgraded but I found the salad bar very difficult to access the second row because of the glass housing, sneeze guard design.

Lots of outlets and USB plugs. 👍
