I've been to the Broadway Playhouse several times, and it is always a delight. I greatly appreciated Millionaire's assistance - she helped us with some seating issues related to my mom's mobility issues.
The play was incredibly charming! It's slapstick comedy, which we enjoy, and it was almost as much fun watching other peoples' reactions as watching the play!
I appreciate that the masking policy is still in place.
Highly recommend!

I saw The Play That Goes Wrong Mother’s Day Weekend. The age group I was with ranged from 7-70 and the seven year old loved it. The 70ish women did not care for the play and went to sleep. Overall, I thought the play was ok and worth seeing if your in the area. I would not make a special trip just to see this play. The audience laughed throughout the play especially the lady next to me( she pretty much screamed throughout the play) The theatre is small and the seats are comfortable and would see another play here.

We saw The Play That Goes Wrong here last week. The theater is a convenient location downtown and tickets were easy to buy online. I've been here before and like the smaller theater with good views from any seat. The play was absolutely hilarious with amazing props, set design, and a fast & furious plot of misfortunes, sight gags, and physical humor. The actors were all perfect in their characters and the audience roared at their antics. We laughed the whole time & it was a great escape. Most ages would enjoy this experience.

Booked a play here for our Spring Break trip (4/2/22). A family of four with two preteens. I just just discovered (by accident) that the kids need to be vaccinated to attend! They are not and there is no time to have it done. So we are out $400 as this does not meet their cancellation policy.
Broadway in Chicago does NOT prominently display/warn/inform about this now "outlier" requirement on their page or during booking via Ticketmaster. You have to click into their "know before you go" page to find it should you think to do it. Note the museums and other attractions place this info up front and in your face. (Good job them.)
I find this to be a highly dishonest business practice and I am utterly disappointed.
So...I'm sure the theater itself is just fine but the parent company is lacking greatly.
Hopefully Amex has our back. A $400 loss for a policy that is buried on a web page is not acceptable.

Saw The Play that Goes Wrong which was awesome! Venue is smaller (500 seats or so) with excellent views. Proof of vaccine required which is stupid in February 2022. Concession stand is closed which is also dumb as you were sitting inches away from hundreds of other folks.

I saw Potted Potter here. I found the parking to be rough to figure out. Everything else was great. The theater is nice. The seats were fine. The show was great.

Went to a performance of Potted Potter on Saturday night. Nice small theater with excellent seating. Show was funny and well done.

Got tickets for my wife’s late Christmas presents. This is our 2ed time here & it’s awesome. Not a bad seats (but could be a little bit more wider for us bigger folks) good sound as well. Will come again. Parking is also convenient (I used the app Spot Hero & got us parking in Water Tower Place for the show for $16.

There isnt a bad seat the house. We initially sat in the back row and had a very good view of the stage. The play was only a third sold so they had everyone move forward, which was cool!

i think it depends....there are sexual innuendos/Tom Parker is really portrayed as a rat/the great Elvis music is at the end/ the story is told with a background of current events so there is racial violence reported
Now that I read this I'd say go to Graceland and enjoy a vacation together!
