Fantastic venue and staff, very enjoyable experience can’t wait to return.

We visited here with two 11 year olds and an eight year old. My 8 year old went in the tandem kart and loved it. The staff are really friendly and professional. I felt as if they made sure everyone was safe and happy. We all had a really enjoyable visit and will definitely be back.

Took my 10 year old daughter here for her birthday, she had never even sat in a kart before and was a bit nervous. The staff were amazing with her and helped build her confidence, they even altered the order in which we went onto the track so her first go could be just the two of us, this helped massively.
We walked away from the place after our visit and apparently this was her best birthday ever, she wants a kart now and not a pony

Highly recommend Apex Kart. We attended with two other families with quite a few older teenagers between us. The staff were really professional and friendly. It was great fun but also felt safe - clear rules and very attentive staff. The staff were absolutely brilliant with my son who has learning disability - great communication skills and also kind and thoughtful. They did everything they could to help him be part of the group and to experience the karting but also to keep him safe. We were all really impressed. Thank you. We will definitely come back.

Only one star ⭐️ for one reason only.
They do not follow their own rules. I went with my son and nephew (both 10) .They were driving safety but still trying to have fun, Unlike the reckless teenagers who shouldn’t be allowed to drive dangerously crashing into the young kids.
Race track was far to overcrowded as there were roughly 12 on at the same time.
It was more like bumper karting rather than go karting and the Marshalls made no attempt to stop this.

Second time visiting Apex for go karting … last time was an absolute disaster and I vowed never to return! But my friends asked me repeatedly to go for a good friends birthday so I thought hat the hell, and joined them! Big mistake! Again
Awful customer service! Staff really do speak appallingly to customers, it’s not on! The manager is and arrogant individual who literally not picks at anything the group does. Kart didn’t feel safe at all to me, kept veering to the left and rattled like crazy when going round a bend!
I hope I never have to come back here! But if I do, I really hope I can improve up on this one star review! If I could give it -1, I would. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I booked Apex Kart online for my 11 year olds birthday! Booking was easy, and had prompt response when I emailed with a query. Staff were excellent with the kids, in particular they were outstanding with the child with additional needs. I highly recommend this place land will definitely be coming back!

Really fun, especially in karts you've never had experience with, guessing that the number on my medal means that I'm the 90th person to ever get a medal and I'm happy, I suggest this place 10/10, hard to hear with the mask and helmet on but that shouldn't be too much of a problem, make sure you have a finger-sized opening in your helmet. But overall it's worth sending a friend over to the area and having them try it out the price wasn't that bad, but I also suggest the area to families with kids as long as the kids are old/tall enough to participate, it's best to go on a sunny day but if you want to slide around then go on a rainy day and it's really fun/exciting as long as you do what the staff tell you to do and if you ever want it to be like a race then I suggest to bring a lot of people over to the race track, adds a competitive feeling and honestly makes the entire experience even better, you could try some different karts if you get chosen to be putten into 1 and it just spices it up if you never had experience with that kart.

Unfortunately we arrived to find the facilities closed with only a couple of maintenance staff around, they told me they are closed on Mondays, although Google, TripAdvisor and their own website list that they're open 7 days a week. Disappointing after a 30 minute drive. Hopefully the actual opening times can be updated on the website and other listings to stop others from being left disappointed.
I will say that from what I seen the facilities and karts did look good and I'm sure we'd have had a great experience if it was open.

All our bookings must be made in advance via our website. which gives you our live availability. If you had phoned that Monday and heard the answer message saying you must book in advance or tried to book online , you would have then noticed there was no availability that particular day and that would have saved you the drive. That is the exact reason why you must always book in advance.
I'm sure you would have had a great experience and hopefully this won't put you off returning but you must book in advance.

Hi, im looking for a karting birthday party for my son but he'll be 6, I know you say the parties are for over 8s but can they just come and drive at a younger age? Thanks Gill
Hi Gill,
Unfortunately, Our Minimum age for all Karting is 8 Years old with a Minimum height of 125cm Tall
Any Driver under the age of 8 years old can not race.
