I collect yarn shops wherever I travel and this one is outstanding. The owner is a fabulous designer and her husband helps her out. In fact, when our husbands were checking out the location of the shop for us, they were greeted by a guy who said, "I can't believe you knit so you must be looking for your wives."

Store had a sign out front stating, "You need yarn!" My wife agreed with that statement, so we made sure to go inside and do some shopping.
Store is moderate sized, but there's plenty of space that you don't feel crowded. Walls and tables have a wide variety of different types and colors of yarn. Plus, there's various other accoutrements available; such as knitting needles, crochet hooks, instruction books, and even some prepared projects (with items needed). Prices are very reasonable as well. Not cheap but you get good quality materials and supplies for a fair price.
On top of being a good store, the owners are really great as well. Both are very friendly and personable, which just adds a nice warm touch to the place. And, while the store might not appeal to everybody, I would still recommend it for both being a great yarn store as well as just an inviting place to stop by.

So, if you're walking around with someone who likes shopping and that someone sees a yarn and fabric store & it is cold outside, well, you find yourself inside. FiberWild is for knitting, as the Grateful Gourmet is to cooking and food preparation. Personally, I was amazed at the types of yarns and materials, as well as other things. The owner was very helpful and informative and her husband made sure that I was happy being in the store. FiberWild is worth a stop to check it out, especially if you are in to knitting.

Us three ladies walked in having a giggle fest (because that's what we went on a road trip for) and the people in the yarn shop started giggling with us. We had a riot with them while they helped the experienced one in our group find yarn and needles for the beginner in our group, while the who-cares-about-knitting person in our group made wise cracks and kept everybody laughing. It was a really friendly and fun loving atmosphere, and everybody was talking to everybody. We bought yarn.

We popped in to pick up a gift for a knitter, and we were really impressed by this lovely shop. They have a good selection, including some more exotic yarns in beautiful colorways, and i appreciated that it was so organized and did not feel cluttered. We enjoyed meeting the owner, who was very knowledgeable and helpful, and her husband, who my husband enjoyed chatting with while I perused the shelves.

The owners were extremely helpful, friendly and informative! The inventory was well curated and well organized. It included great international yarn makers. They had knitted swatches of everything!

If you like crafts and yarn, you will love this place! The selection includes all thicknesses and yarns I didn't know existed! Prices are higher than a big box store but reflect the quality of the wool, dyes, and fibers used. The storekeeper was knowledgeable and a very positive person. Felt a bit like stepping into a Diagon Alley store of wonders!

My wife's hobby is spinning and weaving and we went into FiberWild! so she could look around. She bought several skeins of yarn for a variety of projects. the yarns are a variety of colors and types. What made the visit so much fun was the friendliness of the owners and talking to them.

This is a really interesting place to visit if you love fiber. They have a wide variety of quality fiber. Plan to spend some time to take in all they have to offer. The individuals working are extremely knowledgeable and most pleasant and helpful.

I'm a knitter....I have to wander into any yarn shop I find. And boy, am I glad I wandered into this one! The shop is FULL of wonderful yarns, a great selection! And the owner was so helpful without hovering. I only wish I lived closer so I could stop in more often.
