This is a location that requires a second look. Service was friendly but leaning towards understaffed. Due to the lack of flights, or ability to sample, I decided to start my two beer limit with the brewers recommendation. “Cathedral “ was phenomenal. My second was my favorite style “Marzen”, but I was a bit disappointed in comparison to what I consider the traditional style.
I look forward to a return trip.

Had an awesome and can I say awesome experience travelled there awhile ago from the Bahamas and wanted a quick bite I was quite taken aback when I heard one of the waiters speaking with my accent his name was Jordan he made sure my food and drinks came in a timely fashion and was quite knowledgeable about the drinks and brewing process whenever I go back I’m sure to pay this fine establishment a visit

Great welcoming environment and fantastic service. Loved the taster options with a nice variety of beers. Great option for a place to visit with friends.

Still a very small taproom but a large event area with live music or live wrestling the day we were there. The beers were very good and the bartender super friendly. A pit hard to find but a fun place.

Visited with 3 colleagues, and we all enjoyed our brews: bourbon barrel stout, hearty IPA, and Martzen. Nice to see the stout and Martzen included during the summer months along with helles, hefeweizen and others. Industrial park setting- a real brewery tap room atmosphere with an outdoor welcoming beer garten. Pints are typically $6/ pull, and we showed up on half price Monday. Woohoo!

We had a Groupon that allowed two people to have a tour and tasting. I called up early February and made a 6:00 PM tour reservation for the 28th - the person who answered the phone took my name but no other details.
When we showed up on the day, the barman informed us that the tour guide was absent so there were no tours. He also gave me grief about the printed Groupon and said he could only handle it if I had the Groupon app on my phone (I don't). Eventually, he agreed to take the paper version. Apart from that, the guy was pleasant and helpful - he gave us four samples and a pint each plus one filled Growler to go ( eleven different beers in all!). He brought everything out to where we were sitting. For us, none of the beers were that appealing that we wanted to purchase any.
I did look around the place a little bit but without anyone to explain their processes, it wasn't that interesting. BTW - We had no problem finding the place.

Almost hidden at the back of a building in an industrial park is the Church Street Brewery. I had one of their draft beers at a local restaurant and the waiter encouraged me to check out the brewery. Good advice! There is a nice selection of craft beers and the knowledgeable man who served us gave us generous samples and clear explanations before we bought. You can take away cans and bottles, or enjoy beer on tap in an airy space between the stainless steel vats and bags of hops. Now that's my idea of atmosphere. And did I mention that the beer is excellent?

A nice cozy brewery in a warehouse area of town. It was real dark in the area and I have to admit that when I called, the guy running the place had to come out and wave us down in order to find it. The best I can describe is when you get to the circle, the brewery is roughly at 5:00 on the circle with the road leading to it being 6:00. Turn in that driveway and the entrance to inside is on that side of the building. Once inside you'll have a choice of about 10 beers, plenty of seating, a TV, board and card games, someone playing an acoustic guitar (that night) and other things. Great service and great beer.

Fun little brewery about 30 minutes west of Ohare. Nice list of beers and friendly staff. Was there for a private party with the Chicago fun club and enjoyed the tour by the owner and fun atmosphere. Will definitely go back if in town.

I’m staying in Schaumburg and was looking for a local brewery, and found Church Street. It’s a small space up front and lots of room in the back with longer tables. The tap tenders were attentive and helpful in choosing a beer. People brought food or ordered food delivered on the Monday night I went. It was Half Price Monday so that was fortuitous. I had a Pilsner and their fall beer Itascafest, both were tasty. They had board games to play and a PS2. A diamond in the rough.
